Perched on wooded hilltop, this historical estate home was thoughtfully restored and expanded, addressing the modern needs of a large family and incorporating the unique style of its owners. The design is teeming with custom details including a porte cochère and fox head rain spouts, providing references to the historical narrative of the site’s long history.

use the handrail dimensions more then 2x3 inch and secure hold to the first and last post. for example stair length more at 12 steps.

Hi. I would agree with everything Summit Stairs & Millwork pointed out, you have to make sure & ask for the local stair code in your area if you really need a to add a post midway down. That way, you'll know if you really need to have that or not. It's for your own safety anyway.

Thank you for your interest in our project. This staircase and wainscoting were original to the house and the wainscoting was painted. Typical Kilz primer should be able to conceal wood grain. Good luck with your project.

Thank you for your interest in our project. The homeowner brought a lot of the furnishings with them, however the interior designer was RLH Studio located in Minneapolis, and they would have selected items the homeowner did not already have.

Thank you for your interest in our project. These stairs are original to the 1929 house. The contractor did however stain the floors with: Woodcraft: Dark Mission Dye 2 coats, Dura Seal: Spice Brown Stain 1 coat

Thank you for your interest in our project , unfortunately our records do not have that information in them, but we used a porcelain tile that looks like French limestone and lagos azul, 18”x18” in the kitchen of this home, in case you like that also.

Rachel, Thank you for your interest in our project. The table was either something the homeowner already had or was selected by their interior designer. The interior designer was RLH Studio located in Minneapolis.

Thank you for your interest in our project. This staircase was built original to the house in the 1920's. Unfortunately we do not know the manufacturer.

Thank you for your interest in our project, per the contractor on this project they used 2 coats of Woodcraft Dark Mission Dye and 1 coat of Dura Seal Spice Brown Stain. They cannot recall if satin or semi-finish.

Thank you for your interest in our project. We are the architect that designed the home. The general contractor says the floor is Woodcraft: Dark Mission Dye 2 coats, Dura Seal: Spice Brown Stain 1 coat. Hope that is helpful.
