Does anyone know what the equivalent to the paint in the picture would be in sherman Williams?
  • customspot
I believe Sherwin Williams purchased Benjamin Moore. Should not be a problem.

sorry but the designer isnt telling you the truth, i went and bought a pint of cyberspace sherwin williams and its not the same color, cyber space is almost black but, they make a color called software and network gray, it looks closer to this color on here.

tommygaga I have utmost faith that the designer IS telling the truth. If you had read the preceeding comments you'd see that houzz pictures CANNOT be relied on for representing the paint colour exactly or sometimes even approximating the paint colour. Not only are you looking at a photo on your monitor that's been edited and adjusted several times but you are also looking at the existing light conditions at the time of the photograph, which can make a huge difference in the way the paint colour is perceived.

Let me reiterate that the colours on houzz are only a suggestion of what you might choose yourself, but you need to select several possible samples from the paint store and see how the colours look in your own space before you invest in several gallons.

I could care less about the color of her walls. I'm commenting on the designer's reply. I'm not a moocher and neither is the lady who asked what color the walls were. And neither are the 3.5 million people on this site that ask what color are the walls, the floors., or the tiles. That's what the question section is for. And out of all the years I've been on this sight, this is the one and ONLY time I've seen a negative reply from a designer. Just saying....

  • trace333

It looks similar to sherwin williams “peppercorn”. BUT get a sample before buying gallons of the product. “Light french gray” is a beautiful compliment color because it cast no greens or blues. Just pure gray.

Wtf. My god!!!!!! Some designers need a reality check!! It's like they invented a wall color formule and they can't give it away!! Ohhhhhhh please!! Is it such of a secret to just answer a wall color???? As the others said, if you don't share don't post. Others designer shares everything and they get way more recognitions. So please don't make a big deal on such of a ridiculously simple request.

stop harassing this nice lady and her beautiful designs, you're a dimwit and shouldn't be on this site. She doesn't have attitude, she's a professional.
  • Adriana Lopez-Hammer
@ashee02 completely agree with @leonoz--the designer doesn't owe you anything much less a response. Her professional response was more than adequate....Houzzers are fortunate to have someone with this level talent post their work to inspire and give us no talent people a fair shot at putting together or to hire someone that can help achieve a similar look

    paint color on walls?

It looks like Benjamin Moore Copley Gray to me. It's a smidge warmewarmer in brighter light. But I can see it going darker with this dim lighting.

    Thank
you for your question! We have archived this project and don't have the
exact heights for reference, but the baseboards are most likely 6" and the crown molding is most likely 4."

Should Crown Molding be even from room to room? I have the skinny Crown that was installed years ago. My house is old and I'm having some renovations done. When the contractors reinstalled the molding in my living room dining room combination it's about 5-10 inches lower in the dining room. I want it even. Am I being to picky by asking this? Please advise!!

    Thank you for your question!

Color is in essence, reflections of light and one’s surroundings. As a result, the color you see in our clients space would certainly translate differently into your own. Unfortunately, we do not share project-related details of this sort both for your benefit and the benefit of our clients. Our clients have invested in the uniqueness of their space and have entrusted us with the privilege of celebrating the finished product photographically without compromising their confidentiality by disclosing specific details.

If you are not working with a designer, play with paint samples on various walls in your space to see if you get the effect you want. We would also be glad to provide you with a consulation if that would be valuable. We want your space to reflect it’s own beauty, and your style. http://pulpdesignstudios.com/client-questionnaire/

Get rid of the carpeting. So often, bedrooms get stuck with carpeting, regardless of the rest of the home’s flooring. If you want a sleek, clean, chic new look, pull it up and install hardwood flooring. If you’re worried about chilly toes, add a rug beneath the bed. The look will truly be transformative. 19. There's almost no end to the inspiration that Houzzers found in this dark and cozy bedroom. The fantastic light fixture is the first thing that catches the eye, but Houzz users also saved this photo for its warm wood floors, gray walls, bedframe and beautiful fireplace just beyond the main bedroom.

Becky Harris added this to Disco Fever Hits Home AgainOctober 12, 2011

This room has very subtle hints of disco. The centered metallic globe and metal on the nightstand add shine to this dark and relaxing bedroom. Also, there is ample room to do an impromptu hustle past the foot of the bed, should the mood strike.
