Modern Farmhouse Kitchen Manhattan StyleTransitional Kitchen, New York

We chose cabinetry made from reclaimed barnwood from Country Roads Associates (in Holmes, NY) as well as a copper farmhouse sink to get the farmhouse feel. Adding the brick wall and reclaimed 2" thick barnwood beam shelving further enhanced the rustic nature of the design.
The Caspian blue glass tile by Akdo Tile, stainless steel appliances (Viking, Bosch, Liebherrr, Thermador) and thin Dekton (by Cosentino) counter tops lend the contemporary touch. Hafele hardware and interior cabinet lighting also adds a contemporary touch along with the Blum Aventos lift-systems (automatic cabinet doors).

Oh, I love the floor tile in this kitchen. I like that it has some little variation of color in the tile. Do you know what size of tile these are? I would love to have something like this in my own kitchen.

Hi Penelope, it looks to be about 10" x 20" + - though i am not really sure the home owner purchased the tile. i would think if you take a photo into a tile showroom they would be able to help you.

Thank you for your inquiry. i am sorry to say that i do not know, the home owner purchased the floor tile on his own.

Great question about what type of tile this is. I love the large slate colored kitchen tiles. It looks very sturdy and rustic against the wood cabinets and stainless steel oven. My husband and I are hoping to remodel our kitchen at some point. We want something that will look great and be sturdy. We'd love to do something similar to this.
