How much does an addition like this run?

Thank you for your inquiry. This sunroom was constructed with the rest of the home, not as a separate addition. With regard to determining cost for a project, due to the wide variability of labor and operating costs across the country, it is best to find a reputable local contractor to advise you. NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry or your local Builder's Association) is a good place to start searching for a contractor. Best of luck on your project.

We ordered four Wasco skylights for our current project. Two leaked upon installation by contractor so Wasco agreed to replace. It was a long wait, and when the replacement pair was recently put in, they were a different size and so they did not fit. Wasco then stated that the flashing gap spec had been changed. (That would have been nice to know upfront before we attempted the second installation.) We are now awaiting replacements of the replacements! We will likely need to get 2 new ones custom made to the original spec so that they fit the existing opening and so that all 4 will all be identical and match. That will mean we had to order 8 in order to get 4 of the same size that did not leak. It's been a long process, and we are still awaiting a final resolution. Hoping for a good outcome, but this doesn't instill confidence.

The second pair of replacements were installed a few days ago. Today it rained, and one of them leaked. We collected almost 2 cups of water that got into the house.

    Awaiting Wasco reply again.

Thank you for your inquiry. This is such a sunny and comfortable space. Even with the 3+ feet of snow that we have around here now, the homeowners get to enjoy as much of the winter sunlight as possible!

The wonderful designers at Martha O'Hara Interiors worked closely with the homeowners and helped them to select the chandelier (and all the furnishings) in this space. If you visit their ideabook it does tag the chandelier with purchase information:

Thank you for your inquiry. The unit size was approximately 9 x 3 and they were custom-sized. Wasco also offers standard sized units as well in their various product lines. This product was the e-series low-profile deck-mounted unit with flat glass. (They have a very helpful website if you're not quite ready to meet with a sales rep: http://www.wascoskylights.com/) Good luck with your project.

Having a skylight in a living room like this seems really nice. Especially with all of those nice trees surrounding the home. Do you know what the size of those skylights is? https://www.redcliffeskylights.com.au

Thank you for your inquiry. It is a really cute detail, such a great place for breakfast or an after school snack! Bench is 99" x 81" long against the two walls, seat is 16" h x 23" deep and the back is sloped slightly to meet the underside of the window sill. There are two drawers that open at the short end of each bench. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, I do not have the exact mounting height of the TV on hand. This TV location was to allow for viewing when sitting at the table (about 18' from the TV) and standing in the kitchen. The chairs are a bit close for comfortable long-term viewing, but that isn't the main use of this space.

    Regards,

The floors are 5" Rift & Quarter Sawn White Oak, Select grade, stained with a custom blended stain and finished with 3 coats of polyurethane. Since the stain was custom blended on site, I'm afraid I don't have a specific product color.

Thank you for your inquiry. The stone used is actually a custom blend of several different 4" limestone veneers provided by our friends at Hedberg Landscape & Masonry Supply. You can see this blend in more detail used on the exterior of the home as well:

If you live in a particularly warm climate, you should be aware of creating a greenhouse effect in summer. Consider skylights with shading systems or openings to allow hot air to escape.
