Large trendy open concept medium tone wood floor living room photo in Albuquerque with gray walls, a two-sided fireplace, a stone fireplace and a wall-mounted tv

Mountain View ContemporaryContemporary Living Room, Albuquerque

The furniture and accessories chosen for this great room was centered around this amazing southwestern contemporary style rug. The sofa and accent chairs were chosen to accent the colors in the rug. The coffee table and end tables add a great dimension and tie in the ceilings and steel used throughout the residence.

Carol, so sorry that I did not see your question until now. I am new to Houzz and just learning about questions. The rug is a hand made Tibetan made in Nepal from Azadi Rugs in Telluride Colorado. They also have a main store in Scottsdale AZ. sorry this answer so late in getting back to you!

2. Pick Nontoxic Materials Choosing natural materials will help maximize your indoor air quality. Your designer can help you find low- or zero-VOC paint without toxic antifreeze; wood flooring sealed with a nontoxic, water-based product; and natural fibers that won’t off-gas, Sumner says. She selected USA-made upholstery — which is held to stricter toxicity standards — for clients in the Two Dogs subdivision north of Durango. Their natural wool area rug, seen here, won’t off-gas like a polyurethane rug and “wears like steel,” Sumner says. She also suggests using reclaimed materials to further reduce your carbon footprint.See more of this project
