This fence must be new as per these photos. The cedar will turn silver/grey as it weathers. (as you must know by now) A clear or semi-transparent oil based stain will preserve the color somewhat, but this will dry out after a season or two and the wood will grey. Given the sandwich construction and size of this fence (and others on the property), going back in and reapplying the finish, or pressure washing/ sanding to get back to those deep reds is not likely to be practical You'll have shadow effects under the overhanging caps and crossboards where the color will stay longer...but if they took a picture of this fence today it would be a light grey not unlike the siding on the home.
