I used an Arizona flagstone for the pathways for several reasons; it has a smaller “footprint” than other flagstones as it comes from just one state over from California. I love that the pieces could be sourced in extra-large sizes, which were perfect for their large scale garden. This flagstone is also authentic to the property, as it would most likely be the same stone used at the existing 50’s ranch house during the time.
