    Hi Michelle,

The floor is stained after installation. White oak is available nationwide. I would suggest checking with flooring showrooms and installers in your area. I am sure someone local can order you a few samples to choose from. I hope this helps!

Hi Bren, the London Sky does have a lot of gray in it and I’ve noticed that the background is a little more gray than it used to be. I’ve been told that London Sky is being discontinued and replaced with something similar, but I haven’t seen the replacement color yet. It’s a shame. It was one of my “go to” Quartz countertops because it looked so close to marble, but I’ll have to find a new favorite now! Best of luck with your project!

Hi there and thanks for your question. The wall sconces are the Articulating Sconce by Rejuvenation. You can select your finish and they make them to order. I hope this helps and best of luck with your project!

Hi Bren, it’s a cream vinyl by Kravet. We had them reupholstered locally in San Antonio. I hope this helps!

Hello, there were approximately 60 drawer pulls used in this kitchen ranging from 3" to 12" in length. We sized them according to the proportions of each cabinet. In general, the top wall cabinets had 5" handles, the lower wall cabinets had 8" handles and the base drawers had 5" handles. The drawer pulls sizes varied, as the drawer widths were several different sizes. We used 12" pulls on the refrigerator panels and an 8" wide pull on the paneled dishwasher. I hope this helps!

Hi and thanks for your question! The taller portion of the island is 39" high and the barstool portion of the island is 36" high. I hope this helps and best of luck with your project!

Thanks so much for your kind compliments! We used the Kohler “Whitehaven” cast iron single bowl farmhouse sink in white. We selected this sink because we replaced an existing Kohler sink that was almond in the exact same size. We kept the base cabinets and painted them white for the remodel so we had to replace the sink with one that fit the existing sink cabinet. I use cast iron Kohler sinks very often for our projects because they are so durable and they don’t scratch and show water marks like a stainless sink does. I hope this helps and wish you the very best with your project!

Deb, they’re the Glendale pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting. They’re sold at your local lighting store or online at a variety of places. I hope this helps! Best of luck with your project!

Hi Maddie, The pendants over the island are the Glendale pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting and the wall sconces are the Articulating Sconce by Rejuvenation. On the sconces, you select your color combination. I hope this helps!

    Hi Sam,

Thanks for your question. The hood was custom designed by us and made by our cabinet maker for this kitchen. I would contact a local cabinet maker in your area and show them this photo as an example of what you'd like for your project. I hope this helps!

Hi Cindy, the countertops on the island and the perimeter are both quartz (man made materials). We used a more subtle quartz pattern by Zodiaq on the perimeter countertops and a Walker Zanger quartz with larger dramatic veining on the island to add interest to the expansive surface. Both are a polished (standard) quartz finish with a square edges on all of the tops. The marble backsplash tile is honed.

As far as suggesting a focal point for your kitchen, it could be an interesting range hood, a large picture window, a beautiful island or a stunning light fixture. It's difficult for me to answer your question appropriately without being able to see the space. I suggest that you consult a local interior designer to help you develop a comprehensive plan for your kitchen remodel. Best of luck with your project!

Hi there and thanks for your question and interest in our project! The barstools are the Malin 25" barstool from allmodern.com

Unfortunately, they only come with brown seats, so I recovered them in cream vinyl from Kravet. I hope this helps! Best of luck with your project!

Hi there and thanks for your question and interest in our project. The lights over the island are the Glendale pendant from Hudson Valley Lighting. They come in three sizes and two color combinations. This is the largest size available in the gold and black colorway. I hope this helps and best of luck with your project!

Hi there and thanks for your questions and interest in our project! The bottom of the range hood is approximately 36" above the range top. The homeowner is 6'3" in this particular situation, so we raised it 2" higher than normal to accommodate his height and to be absolutely sure that he wouldn't hit his head on the hood when cooking. We would typically place the bottom of the hood around 33" to 34" from the range top, with 32" being the absolute minimum. To address your other question, the distance from the window wall to the island is 46", the distance from the range wall to the island is 61.5" and the distance from the refrigerator wall to the island is 64.25". In a smaller kitchen, the recommended walking space between an island and perimeter cabinets is 42" for one cook, 48" for two cooks, with the bare minimum amount of walking space being 36". I hope this helps and we wish you the best of luck with your project!

Hi Susan and thanks so much for your question and interest in our project! The flooring is European White Oak, 6" planks in random lengths, with a custom gray stain. The pendants over the island are the "Glendale" pendant in the largest size from Hudson Valley. I purchased them from a designer showroom, but if you Google them, you'll see that there are many places that carry them. Best of luck with your project!

I like white cabinets, dark island, and light wood floors. Not interested in 2 step island. Back splash looks good. Might not get dated as quickly as glass?

This is too modern, but I like the white cabinets. I also like the size of the hood.

Amazing windows! I don't care for the two decker island. I want on big, level rectangle
