look up Baine Marie on goole shopping. They are a steam table insert for restaurants.

clever idea and choice of containers! I'm thinking of using something like that for storing the hair dryer and curling iron in my wife's bath vanity drawer.

as I recall, I ordered them on amazon - they had all the dimensions, so I could figure how many would fit into my drawer - which was 9 inches wide. I purchased three pots which were 5-3/4" wide (including the flange at the top) and 7" tall. This left an inch & a half on either side of the holes for support - and a place to lay my extra long wooden spoon that wouldn't fit upright. The manufacturer of the pots I purchased is Update Stainless.

Great thanks for cool idea! Is it any problems with wet in closed pots (smell or dry water signs)? maybe better use meshed pots?

How do the utensils dry if put in drawer wet? Can the stainless steel containers be removed for cleaning?
  • PRO
    JORY Workshop
They can be removed, but i do not recommend putting wet things inside the cabinetry.

The ones in the pictures are about 4" Bain Marie steam pan inserts. There are many more sizes depending on your needs.

Or... you can buy a utensil rack and save your drawers for something else. www.hangingpotrackshop.com, highly affordable.

Rev-a-shelf has something similar to these in their catalogue. Comes with a cool knife block as well if you want.

Consider going vertical. Want to tidy up your cutlery drawer without having to assign each piece an individual place? Try a drawer with vertical cutlery bins that let you simply drop in pieces with long handles (such as spatulas and slotted spoons) and pull them out easily. You’ll be able to see each piece, and you won’t have to remember exactly where you got it later.

          3. Utensil drawer. This clever utensil built-in keeps serveware and silverware conveniently in check. Added to more than 260,000 ideabooks, this image is one of the most popular on Houzz. If you want the look but can’t afford custom, take the DIY route by placing stainless steel pots in a deep, empty drawer.Shop for kitchen drawer organizers

          5. Handy storage for stovetop tools. Houzzers also loved this smart solution to loose utensils and tools. A few containers tucked neatly into a drawer keep things handy and tidy.

Built-in storage is also a great way to cut down on countertop clutter. With space at a premium, these hidden spots are space savers and a great way to stay organized. I would love to be able to hide my mismatched spoons and spatulas in a drawer like this one.

That's a cool way to store those kinds of utensils. Might take up too much room, though
