    In Houzz Tour Vanessa Brunner wrote techniques that have been in practice for centuries in Provence were used to plaster the walls. I wonder if you might know if the technique has a name? I love everything French, especially old stone houses and I'm just curious to know.

    These tiles were sourced from a vendor local to the project, in France, so we don't have a spec on them.

    It was sourced and purchased by the project Contractor in France. Sorry we do not have any other details.

    The project is a restoration of a very old in-town home in the south of France. How it was done I can only speculate, but I'd say it's a structural vault holding up the roof above.
