Modern Fan Aurora Hugger - love it because it throws light on the ceiling, and not just down light. Makes the whole room feel brighter.

What are the colors that were used in the kitchen, dining and living rooms?

The turquoise color is Behr 500F-6 Hallowed Hush, matte finish.
The yellow in the far background is Benjamin Moore BM HC-12, matte finish.
The white thru-out (cabinets, trim, ceiling) is Benjamin Moore OC-130 Cloud White.
The kitchen paint color is SW 6183 Conservative Gray.

Do you have a filler to prevent the wall/door blocking the left door when u open the fridge? Can u remove shelves to clean it easily?
  • PRO
    Katie Hastings Design LLC

Yes there was a panel (maybe 2") between the fridge and the exterior wall to give a little bit of room to allow the fridge doors to open to at least 90 degrees. It worked in this case, with this fridge. The interior drawers and shelves opened fine. Though other models might require more space between wall and fridge for the doors to open far enough to pull out drawers and shelves.

Love that color! What color are the cabinets? There are so many whites out there! I would love to know what went so well with SW 6183.

The cabinets, trim and ceiling are all Benjamin Moore OC-130 Cloud White. Great soft white.

They are the standard 6"H drawers. The pulls worked fine. We mounted them just a bit higher than centered within the recessed panel so plenty clearance for fingers :)

There was 5' clear between opposite countertops, and an additional 2' deep cabinets/counters on either side (sink and range).

The door casing is a standard 1x4 with an extra smaller raised trim profile attached at the perimeter to give it the detail. This matched the historic/original trim in the house. You can see this a bit closer-up on the window trim above the sink.

My records indicate that C31 was used (don't have record of the name), though this project was done in 2009, there's a chance product numbers/names have changed since then. It's a very subtle color, like the natural green tint of architectural glass. I suggest getting some samples to see the color in person prior to ordering the tile that will be installed, maybe even order a sample of a few different colors to be able to compare. Good luck!

I believe it was close to 2.5" on the door fronts and side rails of the drawer fronts. We used a smaller piece on the drawer top and bottom rails (maybe 1.75" or 2"?) to accommodate the cup pulls which are Top Knobs M1300 Brushed Satin Nickel Pulls Dakota Collection 2-9/16.

The ceiling height was 8'-6". The base cabinets were 3'-0", the upper cabinets were 3'-9", and the backsplash/space between was about 1'-6".

The faucet is the Hansgrohe Talis S HighArc 2-spray faucet in Steel Optik finish, which is brushed like a brushed nickel but just a bit darker. I believe it's available in a chrome finish (polished) but you would have to check with the mnfr. Love this faucet. In my opinion, it's the best on the market for the price, for the style, and for the performance. I recommend it to clients often. There are several different handle options also.

The rug was from West Elm circa 2011. It's likely not available any longer but they may have something similar. The contract of black and white is always attractive!

Both the Fridge and the Range are from the GE Cafe series, and the range is the 30" dual-fuel model. I think it's the camera angle that is creating the illusion that they are bigger in this pic.

Thank you! Wall to wall, this kitchen is 9'-2" wide x 12'-0" long, with 5'-0" clear between counters on either side. It was a very comfortable wide galley layout, especially with the added peninsula on the end.
