- Do you know who makes this?
No, the client purchased them independently from our services.
- Thanks for answering my joint question. Is this what you typically use to fill joints of bluestone? We are getting ready to have our bluestone patio done, and I can't decide on joints. Do you also know the sizes of the pieces that were used to get this pattern? Thanks! You do beautiful work!
No problem! Happy to help. We typically use a Full Color Random Rectangular Pattern PA bluestone < 6 sft. This means that you will get various sizes in each pallet with the largest being less than 6 sft (24" x 36"). I must mention though, that we cut each of our stones prior to installation to create straight joint lines which is key to the look that you see in this photo.
Lastly, yes, when we do a wet-laid application we use type S to mortar the joints.
Hope this helps, and good luck!!!
- Please tell me what is used in the bluestone joints?
The bluestone patio was wet laid with Type S mortar joints.
Arbor posts right behind fireplace
back rest on seating; stone topped with brick; arbor
Love the fireplace minus the bricks
