Who makes the roller shades? - I love the reverse hung roller shades in the double hung windows. Will you please share with me the name of the manufacturer? This room is serene. Thanks so much

i was browsing pics and wanted to let you know that i don't think these are reverse hung. those would be going in the opposite direction actually.

These roller shades don't appear to be in the Hunter Douglass catalog. Any other ideas as to where they are from? Thanks!

Where to find these simple old fashioned roller shades? - Where did you get the roller shades? Everything we find has big obtrusive modern plastic hardware, and some only come in almond color which is not attractive with bright white.

Hey there: These roller shades are not old fashioned at all - they are an inexpensive and minimalistic way to cover your window - no bulky casing or valance is needed...check out our website at www.PleatedBlindsStore.com - Good Luck with your project...

For minimalist, vintage style shade pulls and roller hardware, try Zwick Window Shade Co. (see their inside mount antique finish brackets and cloth ring pulls). I ordered samples from them, and the parts look authentically vintage. You may want to look elsewhere for the shade material itself if their material selection is not to your liking.

Yes, these are double hung windows. I believe the manufacturer was Marvin.

We're sorry, but we were not involved in the selection of this bed ... so unfortunately we cannot comment on where it came from.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Fred Albert added this to How to Choose the Right Window Shades
The old-fashioned roller shade is still a good option. At its most basic, the material is wound around a wooden dowel and is spring loaded for pulling up and down. It’s always been a bit of a mystery to me how to make them work properly; they seem to have a mind of their own. But they are a practical and inexpensive option that works well in many applications.

Casey McKeown added this to New Dryad Woods House
