What Houzz contributors are saying:
The rich orange of this pocket glass door makes the entrance to this home office feel fresh and exciting. The other Caribbean colors inside the office — aqua and yellow — enhance the sunny tone.
3. Command CentralThis type of office keeps the home running with schedules, invitations, thank-you notes, bill-paying space and more. The one here is in the middle of the first floor, complete with two desks and a view of the family room. The French door can be closed for quiet during buckle-down time or when the kids do homework in here. See the rest of this home
This office is in the center of the home off the main hall. It has two desk areas, one of which overlooks the family room. The glass pocket door can be closed for quiet time. It also provides a warm jolt of orange. This photo also gives us a good look at the home’s flooring. It’s a new French oak, but it was painted black and then sanded to give it a reclaimed look. The width of the planks also lend a sense of age.
