Very nice. How did you manage to justify window sills and heads with the siding and can you say a bit more about the rainscreen assembly? What's your drainage plane etc. Beautiful work.

The drainage plain on the rainscreen siding assembly is behind the siding boards and the vertical 1x furring members. A special type of house wrap (Vaproshield) is used along with the appropriate peel and stick and window flashing products to ensure no water intrusion. The rainscreen assembly can be open or closed (the project shown above is open) and allows for free flowing air to keep any water/moisture from being trapped, thus extending the life of the siding as well as wall assemblies. The combination of the extruded windows and the rainscreen siding eliminates the functional need for exterior window trim and the aesthetics of the simple punched openings are preferred for a modern design like this one. Thank you for your question and compliments! Much appreciated.
