Bar stools in this collection are inspired by constructive-like character of stool by Lise Johansson – Pape.Rounded lines of Scandinavian design, on this piece has got a sharper, industry-like shape. Basic elements of this stool are applied to bar stool in different, more dynamic manner. Seat is consisted of four panels which resemble the shape of three leaf clover. Additional dynamic nature is achieved by seat cuts, which is slightly bended upward, thus giving impression of lightness of the entire piece. Industrial look is intensified by cross bars on legs which are made of steel elements. Stool is made in standard seat height of 75 cm but there is version of low stool. Wood finishing techniques imply application of natural oils and wax.
Width 52 cm (25.5 in.) Length 34 cm (13.4 in.) Height 77 cm (30.3 in.)

This dining room originally had two windows looking out to the back and side yard. Kristina envisioned an open space that brought the outdoors in. She removed the windows and replaced them with two sets of french doors. Now this dining room feels much larger and is filled with natural light. Brad Knipstein was the photographer.

Home Glow Design
This 1790 farmhouse had received an addition to the historic ell in the 1970s, with a more recent renovation encompassing the kitchen and adding a small mudroom & laundry room in the ’90s. Unfortunately, as happens all too often, it had been done in a way that was architecturally inappropriate style of the home.
We worked within the available footprint to create “layers of implied time,” reinstating stylistic integrity and un-muddling the mistakes of more recent renovations.

This room just needed a fresh coat of paint to update it. Located immediately to the left of the new bright entryway and within eyesight of the rich blue dining room. We selected a green from the oriental rug that also highlights the painting over the fireplace.

Phantom Screens
Built in 1950 as an exact replica of a 1780s Sea Captain’s home, this New England heritage style house is a unique blend of modern conveniences and 18th century ambiance.
The homeowners needed a screen solution for their porch that would provide insect protection, allow them to preserve the clear view of their yard, and not take away from the traditional features or elegance of the porch.
The porch’s classic style and authentic materials dictated that the chosen screens must retract completely out of sight when not in use. The homeowners selected Executive Screens for their ease of use and worry-free maintenance. When not in use, the screens are completely retracted and when needed, lowered at the touch of a button on a remote control or a control pad located near the door. When winter arrives, the screens are safely stored in their housings until they are needed the following spring.
