The overall goal for this project was to create an outdoor living space with all of the amenities put into a narrow lot. After a site analysis a hardscape concept was drawn, followed by a tropical plant layout. Chose stone and material finished in the gray tones, with complements of wood to keep an organic feel. This outdorr living space includes a patio cover over a dining room table, with a fountain as a focal point that can be seen and heard from the living room. A BBQ island with electrical outlets for a blender, chargers, or lights. The customized fire pit and bench is a hit at all of the gatherings. The concrete patio leads to some poured in place concrete steps to the Jacuzzi and a fountain acts as a focal point from anywhere in the yard. All irrigation, drainage, gas lines and low voltage lighting in the plants and structures were also part of the design before hand. This is one of the most complete outdoor living spaces accomplished in a small space. The tropical plant theme creates an oasis in the center of a busy intersection of the city.
