This project is a great example of how to transform a historic architectural home into a very livable and modern aesthetic. The home was completely gutted and reworked. All lighting and furnishings were custom designed for the project by Garret Cord Werner. The interior architecture was also completed by our firm to create interesting balance between old and new. This backyard features a jacuzzi, grilling station and fire pit for outdoor entertaining that's sure to impress. We partnered with Jennifer Allison Design on this project. This beautiful 2 story kitchen remodel was created by removing an unwanted bedroom. The increased ceiling height was conceived by adding some structural columns and a triple barrel arch, creating a usable balcony that connects to the original back stairwell and overlooks the Kitchen as well as the Greatroom. This dramatic renovation took place without disturbing the original 100yr. old stone exterior and maintaining the original french doors above the balcony.
