A Sieger® Casement Window was installed alongside the Sieger® slim sliding door as the same black RAL colour to create a contrast between the bright white internal and external walls. This allowed light to flow through into the living space throughout the day.
Denise Howard
This kitchen is an elegant fusion of gloss and matt finishes with high-gloss cabinetry and quartz worktop alongside matt tiled flooring and solid oak island worktop.
The serene scheme of glossy cream doors and polished Silestone worktop reflects light back into the room, so not only do they look sleek and stylish but they are a practical choice too. The chrome handles add subtle detail to this neutral room and further inject a modern style to the plentiful drawers and cupboards. Colour is introduced through the use of soft lavender and greys with the clock, bar stools and cooking accessories.
The island forms the social hub of the space with the solid oak worktop finished with a soft matt appearance, bringing warmth and depth to the room. The bar stools transform three sides of the island into a breakfast bar where guests can sit and chat whilst food is prepared.
The state-of the-art, sleek Neff cooking appliances comprise of a single oven, combi microwave, warming drawer and induction hob whilst the built-in fridge/freezer, dishwasher and extractor fan seamlessly disappear into the room scheme. The island also conceals a wine cooler –ideal for storing wines and bubbly at the perfect temperature. The LED ceiling lighting maintains the minimalist feel and the two sculptural glass pendant lights hanging above the central island completes the look.
This kitchen is an example of how simplicity and elegance can create a kitchen that is flawlessly chic and functional.
Naked Kitchens
Full of intricate details that set it apart from the crowd, elements of this design delight and inspire you wherever you look in the room.
Rich walnut is the perfect choice of timber for the statement island in this design, as it adds a sense of exclusivity and intensity that’s perfect for an island of this size. Painted panels add an interesting, eye catching element to the island and helps to keep everything feeling fresh and different.
The owners wanted a space to entertain family and friends- cook, eat, and socialise together. So Naked Kitchens designed a kitchen that was perfect for this. The cool, patterned floor feels natural and contrasts perfectly with the rich walnut timber and cool, neutral cabinetry.
The classic shaker cabinets are perfect in this property, they are simple and sophisticated and sit perfectly alongside the elegant marble.
A corner of the room is designated as a coffee making station- what a wonderful room to entertain in and come down to breakfast to every morning.
The beauty of a Naked Kitchen is that it is entirely bespoke, and you can have exactly what you want. The hidden bespoke touches in this kitchen helps to ensure it remains as a working family kitchen, whilst never impacting the beauty of the design.

Officine Gullo
In Portugal, a luxurious private residence is home to the latest project by Officine Gullo. It’s a dream kitchen,
made entirely from the finest materials, such as high-thickness stainless steel for the structure, powder
coated in an original Pastel Blue shade. The colour choice is a tribute to one of the best-known decorative
arts in Portugal, azulejos, whose bright hues, especially in shades of blue and white, are interspersed with
the light ceramic surfaces, sparking ever-changing geometric motifs.
The colour occupies centre stage, expertly paired with burnished brass finishes, such as trims, handles and
details. The burnishing, conducted strictly by the skilled hands of the company’s craftspeople, bestows
texture on the brass, which acquires characterful contrasts with every passing day. The elegant antique
forms are sublimely matched with up-to-the-minute sophisticated kitchen technology. The kitchen comes
equipped with the very best professional refrigeration and cooking appliances. One of the company’s goals
is the creation of a “home restaurant”, enabling every customer to cook at home in the same way that a chef
does at a restaurant.
All the cooking elements are capable of professional performance, yet are manufactured according to the
principles of household ergonomics for everyday home use with the utmost convenience. Due to their
design, non-professional cooks can use all of the available functions. In detail, the project consists of a linear
kitchen with striking walls (4 metres), whose upper part vaunts: two steel wall surfaces at the ends, an
induction stove, a range with 6 high-performance gas burners, a coup de feu, and a smooth and grooved
fry top. The lower part consists of an electric oven and a dishwasher. Above the entire cooking block, a professional
extraction hood and an elegant copper pediment graced with the Florentine fleur-de-lis and two practical
brass shelves for pots. An island stands at the heart of the kitchen, topped with a refined stone counter and
two washbasins with faucets, both entirely in burnished brass. Two dishwashers are nestled in the lower
section of the island alongside drawers and storage space. On the shorter side of the island, space has
been allocated for stools to encourage quality time together during food preparation. The right side of the
kitchen features a signature wall with hand-decorated wooden cornices and masonry, in addition to a set of
built-in appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, blast chiller and a sous-vide machine.
Reclaimed Brick Tile
Our brick slips have been a firm favourite with architects and interior designers in the Middle East for quite a number of years now. Thanks to our strong partnerships in the region, our brick slips have been used as part of many projects ranging from private domestic renovations to high end hospitality fit out projects.
For our latest case study, our Urban brick slips were used as at the Fatto, Italian Restaurant in Bahrain. The project made use of the brick slips both internally and externally for feature walls and cladding.
The Urban brick slips are a great choice when you are looking to create an industrial feel. This project used elements of concrete, reclaimed timbers and exposed metal work to help establish an industrial theme. If you are looking to create a similar industrial look for your project, why not check out our in depth Industrial Styling Guide for ideas, tips and advice.
The designers of this project really wanted to focus on the detail and decided to go with an American Bond to add something different to the brick work. An American Bond makes use of a course of brick headers on every sixth row. This helps to break up very large areas of brick and really adds something extra to the project.
The brick slips were paired with a light mortar colour which helps to showcase the detail in the brick bond. This also makes the bricks pop from the surface and on large scale areas gives the distinction of individual real bricks rather than one solid colour mass.
We’re also huge fans of using the brick slips as the backdrop to painted graphics which has been done here. This technique was made popular by the ghost writing advertising of the early 1900’s. It acts as a great alternative to having physical signage added to a building, which can take away the impact of the brick work. This painted signage will also age alongside the brickwork, giving it a weathered effect and develop character of it’s own over the years.
The Urban brick slips are a long standing favourite within our brick slip range with their darker weathered tones and rough surface texture working well under different lighting conditions to create a look that can change from middday business lunches to intimate evening meals.
If you would like to use the Urban brick slips for your next project, why not get in touch with our team who can help create your perfect look.
The Kitchen Store
We recently had the pleasure of working with clients who envisioned extending their home to create a bright, open-plan family living space. Their primary objective was to transform this area into the hub of their home.
The kitchen's design and style were paramount to achieving their dream space. Our team worked diligently to ensure that every element exuded a stylish and contemporary charm while still being highly functional for their daily lives.
For the furniture, we selected Nolte's exquisite Flair range, complemented with elegant Brass door edging and Brass handles on the tall bank of units. Volcanic Oak open shelving was also artfully incorporated to infuse warmth and a touch of industrial chic.
The choice of worktops played a crucial role in enhancing the overall aesthetic. We opted for Caesarstone's Black Tempal worksurfaces, adding a touch of sophistication and versatility to the space.
To provide both practicality and an ambient atmosphere, Matrix Art black handleless rails with LED lighting were installed, along with LED shelf lighting to showcase their treasured kitchen items.
For the appliances, we collaborated with trusted brands Neff and BORA, ensuring top-notch quality and functionality, enhancing the overall cooking experience. To add a touch of elegance and uniqueness, we installed a Patinated Brass Quooker tap alongside a durable and stylish Franke Fragranite sink.
The result? An exceptional contemporary family living space with a strikingly stylish industrial feel. As the heart of their home, the kitchen now reflects the clients' taste and meets their daily needs in the most sophisticated manner.

Renovisions
This South Shore of Boston client approached the team of Renovisions to remodel her existing basement bathroom. This bath, with an outdated fiberglass shower stall was cracked and leaking into the concrete floor below. The room had inadequate storage, was dark and did not boost this home’s overall market value.
It was definitely time for a Renovision and the client was excited to get started! She was looking forward to sharing the new space with guests that stay at her home and use the bathroom often.
Working alongside this client was fun and productive as great design and product choices were selected together. In the design process, Renovisions presented a unique idea; using the basement foundation ledge for a shelf that ran into the shower area, gaining extra space for shampoos and soaps, eliminating the need for a niche. Another great idea was to implement a Grohe Smart Control valve which brings this shower experience to another level; they can choose ways to spray with the right degree of warmth. The stunning stream-lined shower trims in brushed nickel finish match the style and finish on the single-lever vanity faucet.
The contrasting dark grey, large format porcelain floor tile’s texture resembles a linen-look pattern the client requested while complimenting the darker veining in the quartz curb, shelf and vanity countertop.
The Carrera-look porcelain shower wall tiles boast no-maintenance and provides a clean, brighter appeal seen through the beautiful custom shower glass enclosure. We lightened up the bath with a light blue paint color which added a fresh look, giving the illusion of a bigger space.
As you can see, with the right colors, textures and accessories, we transformed this basement bath from Drab to Fab. The client was thrilled with her basement Renovision, a true Breath of Fresh Flair’!

Dream Kitchens
A kitchen traditional for today. This beautiful, bright kitchen is nestled within a colonial style home located in Manchester, NH. Created to blend the traditional style of the home with the contemporary entertaining style of the home’s newest owners, transforming the kitchen into a functional cooking and entertaining space did not come without a few challenges.
The dated kitchen lacked counter, storage and pantry space. As with many older homes, there were sloping floors, chimney chases, and a lack of wall space. Rising to the challenge, I created three unique designs, each one designed to manage these challenges while offering the homeowners their choice of WOW factors.
Indeed, the final design includes plenty of necessary counter space, amazing deep drawer storage, and wonderful pantry space. To make cooking easier and far more efficient, I accessorized with complements of oil pullouts, tray dividers, dual waste pull outs, and utensil dividers. The layout is also perfect for two cooking at the same time, and the additional counter seating makes this island the hot spot for all gatherings. To keep the “HOT” out of the hotspot however, guests remain comfortable with the pop up down draft installed alongside the 6 burner range efficiently drawing in that heat. Additionally, the raised bar behind the range top not only covers the down draft when in its raised position, but shields guests from any cooking splatter.
AND, it’s the perfect bar height for leaning on or standing around those trays of yummy appetizers set upon it during a party!
The final transformation of space into the perfect entertaining spot is the bar. The kitchen is open to the dining room so placing a small bar between the two spaces creates an easy bridge for guests to grab a drink without crossing the entire kitchen to the fridge. Lighting from the bar’s mullion wall cabinet softly cascades into the kitchen/seating area, illuminating the homeowner’s fine crystal wine and champagne glasses as it reflects the warmth and style of the new kitchen. Next to the bar is the creative addition of an oversized but streamlined chalk board where the signature drink of the night can be whimsically showcased restaurant style. Or, if they choose, guests may leave a note…
White painted cabinets wrap around the perimeter of the kitchen while grey glazed cabinets ground the island. A traditional raised panel door and drawer style suit the home perfectly.
Both are topped with polished black pearl granite countertops. The stainless steel double ovens, refrigerator, and dishwasher coordinate beautifully with the grey glazed island and rustic iron cabinet hardware. Large windows on two walls open to scenic views and let in lots of natural light. Smokey glass pendants and recessed lighting strategically light work stations while artfully illuminating the entire kitchen. Day and night, this now organized, streamlined kitchen embraces the home with a sense of light and warmth; an inviting space perfect for cooking or enjoying time with friends and family.

Refresh Renovations - Brighton & Worthing
The clients initial enquiry included a remodel and refurbish 3 bathrooms (includes downstairs cloakroom). The customer was really driven by having an eclectic look within her space. We worked closely with the customer to propose some very unique tile options.
The ground floor was fully decorated, new radiators in a Royal Blue & lighting, custom made from Etsy. We worked alongside Wren Kitchens to create our clients gorgeous blue kitchen and large feature island. The downstairs WC was also renovated with new Mainzu Ceramica flooring from TILE EXPERT, in Carino Perla Gray, the colourful sink backsplash were the Equipe Ceramicas tile in the country Patchwork Set, bathroom finishes from easy bathrooms and the Serena, solid Oak vanity from Tikamoon.
In the Family bathroom the client wanted warmer tones and we took Moroccan inspiration for her final tile choices of ceramic wall tiles from TILE EXPERT, in the colours, Mural Sonata, to frame the shower space, Livorno Blanco & Livorno Green, the other bathroom finishes were from easy bathrooms and the vanity was the Jill - Solid teak and ceramic bathroom cabinet, from Tikamoon.
The second floor bathroom was renovated with the central door being moved to the side of the room & exchanged for a pocket door, in order to make better use of the space which was previously cramped. This bathroom had a custom shower screen designed due to the sloped ceiling by Brooklands Glass. Bathroom finishes are by Easy Bathrooms & the vanity & bowl are the Romeo - Solid teak vanity unit & the Orion - Grey terrazzo Washbasin from Tikamoon. This unique space has a sunflower feature ceramic wall tile which draws the eye in the space from TILE EXPERT in Carino Deco Marla & Carino Perla Gray.

Soothing Bathroom in Horsham, West Sussex
This soothing bathroom renovation is the second renovation undertaken by designer George in this Horsham property, with a fantastic light and airy kitchen the other. The brief for this bathroom was much the same, again utilising a neutral theme and ensuring spaciousness throughout the room. With building work undertaken prior to this renovation taking place, a well-placed skylight gives plenty of light to the room in addition to several vibrant additions designer George has incorporated.
Bathroom Furniture
To achieve the natural and neutral element of the brief a combination of woodgrain furniture has been utilised from our British bathroom furniture supplier Mereway. The fitted nature of the furniture means that several units have been combined to fit this client’s requirements, with integrated sanitaryware featuring alongside drawer and deeper cupboard storage. A durable solid-surface has been opted for on top of this fitted storage, with a sit-on sink included as well.
Additional tall storage features on the opposite side of the room in the same style, which includes exposed shelving for decorative or pertinent storage. The natural woodgrain furniture here is complemented by tile choices, tying in nicely with the pattern of border wall tiles.
Chrome brassware from British supplier Vado is used throughout the room in the form of a basin tap, shower valves and handset, plus the nice inclusion of wall-mounted taps and a spout over the bath. Spacious bathing and showering facilities are included for soothing and relaxing use, and upon stepping out underfloor heating and warm-to-touch Karndean Flooring will add to the experience.
To brighten the space a sizeable HiB Ambient mirror features above furniture, which when illuminated is an impressive spectacle. In addition, this mirror also possesses de-misting functionality for use at all times.

A dream home in every aspect, we resurfaced the pool and patio and focused on the indoor/outdoor living that makes Palm Beach luxury homes so desirable. This gorgeous 6000-square-foot waterfront estate features innovative design and luxurious details that blend seamlessly alongside comfort, warmth, and a lot of whimsy.
Our clients wanted a home that catered to their gregarious lifestyle which inspired us to make some nontraditional choices.
Opening a wall allowed us to install an eye-catching 360-degree bar that serves as a focal point within the open concept, delivering on the clients' desire for a home designed for fun and relaxation.
The wine cellar in the entryway is as much a bold design statement as it is a high-end lifestyle feature. It now lives where an expected coat closet once resided! Next, we eliminated the dining room entirely, turning it into a pool room while still providing plenty of seating throughout the expansive first floor.
Our clients’ lively personality is shown in many of the details of this complete transformation, inside and out.
DK Homes
We had the opportunity to come alongside this homeowner and demo an old cottage and rebuild this new year-round home for them. We worked hard to keep an authentic feel to the lake and fit the home nicely to the space.
We focused on a small footprint and, through specific design choices, achieved a layout the homeowner loved. A major goal was to have the kitchen, dining, and living all walk out at the lake level. We also managed to sneak a master suite into this level (check out that ceiling!).

The fine craftmanship of West Country Blacksmiths made them an easy choice to be shortlisted for our GAGA 2019 Awards. The variety of work, detailing and quality of finish made them standout in comparison to the competition.”
