Staging Beautifully
Kim Roberts, owner of Staging Beautifully, has a passion for creating beautiful spaces. From home staging to redecorating, Kim’s relaxed and friendly approach make even the most challenging project fun and enjoyable.
For those interested in refreshing their space, Staging Beautifully can assist a homeowner in decorating their home with the items they already own and love. Like staging, redesign may include color selection, rearranging furniture, hanging art and placing accessories. It is a cost effective design alternative which will give your home a facelift without the cost of an Interior Designer. Utilizing your furnishings and treasures, we will shop your home to find new and creative ways to display your family’s possessions. This will result in a complete interior transformation which will reflect your personality, style, comfort and functionality to your living space without having to buy anything.
Looking to sell your home, consider home staging to target a higher selling price. Home Staging aims to de-personalize your home and make it appealing to virtually all prospective buyers. The way you live in your home and the way you market your home are two very different things. Your home is competing with every other home on the market. A home that looks like it needs work or isn't move-in ready prompts buyers to low-ball their offers, or eliminate your home from consideration all together. Those homes that are staged to reflect current trends attract and appeal to more buyers, resulting in more offers, faster sales, and higher sale prices. Sometimes, an agent may even recommend your price be increased once your home is staged! A well-staged home can even start a bidding war with multiple offers!

Hallmark Floors
This modern home with hints of classic design is situated on a hilltop estate in Pacific Palisades, California. Architect and Designer, Michelle Anaya, took on the challenge of renovating the home into the breathtaking residence that it is today. The home features Hallmark Floors: Engineered Hardwood Floors throughout most of the interior. The vision of the interior design was influenced by the outdoors. The home boasts a world-class view highlighted by large windows featuring some of the best sights in the country. Five rigorous years of planning, detailed designing, and extensive renovating resulted in a stunning outcome. “The color of the floor was the perfect selection to compliment the home’s natural landscape with the interior. I needed a floor that would compliment these natural colors… I didn’t want to compete with the sky, the greenery, and the ocean. The floors came out amazing!”

Stark carpet provides the wool carpet anchoring the room, while Councill Crafstman chests flank the fireplace produced by Franchois and Company. The fireplace projects beyond the customary with a limestone-covered wall, built out to emphasize the fireplace with the over-mantle niche made to fit the TV. A simple Baker gold and glass cocktail table hold books and glorious hydrangeas. Again, clear, subtle accessories do not compete but harmoniously create flow throughout the home.

Jubilee Interiors
This full home mid-century remodel project is in an affluent community perched on the hills known for its spectacular views of Los Angeles. Our retired clients were returning to sunny Los Angeles from South Carolina. Amidst the pandemic, they embarked on a two-year-long remodel with us - a heartfelt journey to transform their residence into a personalized sanctuary.
Opting for a crisp white interior, we provided the perfect canvas to showcase the couple's legacy art pieces throughout the home. Carefully curating furnishings that complemented rather than competed with their remarkable collection. It's minimalistic and inviting. We created a space where every element resonated with their story, infusing warmth and character into their newly revitalized soulful home.
CAPOFERRI SERRAMENTI SPA
For this private residential project in Whistler,
Canada, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson turned
to Capoferri to build a custom stainless
steel façade that needed to respond to the
specific challenges of a mountain location,
such as thermal transfer, snow loads, etc.
Particularly interesting are the high quality
finishes not only of the façade itself but also
of the oculars - light wells carefully placed
in different parts of the garden – the flush
interior doors, the exterior metal claddings
and the stainless steel ventilation grilles.
The residence features a fully bespoke main
entrance with its unique push bar for entry.
This project allowed Capoferri to show the
difference it can make in the final result to
have a single competent supplier providing all
custom metalwork to a consistently high level
of fit and finish.
Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has since turned
to Capoferri for two more of their most
exclusive residential projects in Aspen, and in
Sagaponack, Long Island.

TaylorPro Design and Remodeling, Inc.
"TaylorPro completely remodeled our master bathroom. We had our outdated shower transformed into a modern walk-in shower, new custom cabinets installed with a beautiful quartz counter top, a giant framed vanity mirror which makes the bathroom look so much bigger and brighter, and a wood ceramic tile floor including under floor heating. Kerry Taylor also solved a hot water problem we had by installing a recirculating hot water system which allows us to have instant hot water in the shower rather than waiting forever for the water to heat up.
From start to finish TaylorPro did a professional, quality job. Kerry Taylor was always quick to respond to any question or problem and made sure all work was done properly. Bonnie, the resident designer, did a great job of creating a beautiful, functional bathroom design combining our ideas with her own. Every member of the TaylorPro team was professional, hard-working, considerate, and competent. Any remodeling project is going to be somewhat disruptive, but the TaylorPro crew made the process as painless as possible by being respectful of our home environment and always cleaning up their mess at the end of the day. I would recommend TaylorPro Design to anyone who wants a quality project done by a great team of professionals. You won't be disappointed!"

In the ever expanding market of multi-family residential projects, we were approached with one main goal - create a luxury hospitality experience to rival any name brand destination a patron would aspire to visit. 7SeventyHouse is positioned on the West side of Hoboken amongst an emerging set of developments transforming the previously industrial section of the city. In order to compete with other signature properties not only is 7SeventyHouse ‘a brand new residential collection that is more a destination than simply a home’ BUT as a resident ‘you are a part of something bigger; a community thriving on tranquility, sustainability, innovation and a holistic approach to everyday living’. See, we nailed it (or so says the savvy marketing team paid to bring people to the property).

This century home traditional kitchen renovation leveraged a monochromatic colour scheme with lots of textures and details to break up the space. We added lots of details to keep the date of the house with a modern twist.
The kitchen remodel includes:
- Corbels for open shelving
- Step shaker style doors
- Beautiful large crown to accentuate the 10' high ceilings
- A large industrial faucet with a traditional twist to accentuate the original window
- Clear glass doors for the modern feel
- One feature mullioned door as an accent to keep with the age of the house
- Relocation of fridge to accommodate more countertop space
- Apron front sink in Siligranite for practicality in a "Chefs" kitchen
- Additional pantry storage as there was none previously
- Tons of additional in-cabinet and under cabinet lighting
- Traditional marble backsplash to create a textured look, while not competing for attention against the countertop
- Quartz counter top
- Knobs on upper cabinets and pulls on lower cabinets for a traditional look
- Knobs have a linear edge for a modern twist
- Pot filler over industrial stove to make a century home kitchen into a "chefs" kitchen
Dream Kitchens
What had been the family summer “camp” on the lake for many years was to become a summer “home” for the owners in their retirement years. After meeting the requirements for rebuilding at waters edge, the couple focused on their next big requirement: a wonderful kitchen. This kitchen would be part of a single living space that combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas. They wanted a beautiful, warm, inviting kitchen where they could enjoy their family, a kitchen that would take advantage of views of the lake, a kitchen that would be especially functional for one or more cooks and helpers -- and make it the perfect shade of yellow, please!
While they thought they wanted a kitchen with an island that overlooked the rest of the living space, their designer suggested a U-shaped design. A peninsula would minimize the concern that someone would inadvertently miss the edge of the two steps down to the lower living/dining area. It would also give them a kitchen that would allow for things on their wish list: a mantle style hood, a large window at the back of the house, countertop seating and lots of storage.
Placing the stove and mantle hood in the corner of the room created space for the large window, and opened up space for high quality storage with uninterrupted lengths of countertop. Rather than competing with the windows and the views, the high style of the mantle hood complements and balances the entire space. Glass was added to the upper section of the wall cabinets. They continue the effect of the transom windows and provide for display of pottery that had been collected over the years.
The sink was strategically positioned on the peninsula so that during food preparation or clean up there are views to the lake -- and the opportunity to socialize with people gathered at the countertop or in the living/dining area! Countertop seating was created by angling the extended Shivakashi granite countertop back into the kitchen and away from the steps. A third chair pulls up to the end of the countertop. It’s the favorite seat in the house!
The kitchen in this rebuilt lakeside home is being enjoyed and loved in its perfect shade of yellow – magically named “Full Moon”.
