A transitional kitchen designed by Anthony Albert Studios. The designer chose custom concrete kitchen countertops by Trueform concrete. These concrete kitchen countertops created a unique look to the kitchen space. The concrete was cast in Trueform's signature finish.

The Pool House was pushed against the pool, preserving the lot and creating a dynamic relationship between the 2 elements. A glass garage door was used to open the interior onto the pool.

For this classic San Francisco William Wurster house, we complemented the iconic modernist architecture, urban landscape, and Bay views with contemporary silhouettes and a neutral color palette. We subtly incorporated the wife's love of all things equine and the husband's passion for sports into the interiors. The family enjoys entertaining, and the multi-level home features a gourmet kitchen, wine room, and ample areas for dining and relaxing. An elevator conveniently climbs to the top floor where a serene master suite awaits.

Inspiration for a modern kitchen remodel in New York with concrete countertops

This Gray Outdoor Custom Concrete Kitchen Countertop project was located in Hopatcong, New Jersey. The home was set right on the water and the deck was elevated about 15 ft off the ground. When sitting on the deck, the view is directly over the water. Scope of work was to implement earthy tones from existing rock work on the deck and in the landscape into the outdoor kitchen design. Our customer chose concrete for the countertop surface. Trueform concrete created a taupe color done in their signature finish to give concrete countertops movement and depth.

In this outdoor kitchen design the homeowner chose concrete countertops to pull colors from the stone work throughout the property. Custom samples were poured and a color was selected to use for the concrete countertops. The signature finish was selected to pull in some more color depth and give a more rustic look. The edge detail thickness was chosen at 2” to give countertop some heavy presence against all the stone work. A raised section acted as an eat-in and drink bar top while the lower section acts as the working and grilling area of the countertops. Trueform Concrete used a UV stable topical sealer to protect the concrete form exposure and the northeast weather.

Custom concrete kitchen countertop with under-mount sink in this kitchen counter project. A large window at tree top level over looked the lake below. A cutting board was fabricated to fit into the under mounted sink opening.

The new kitchen bar counter sits where a wall was originally. Two species of wood were used in the cabinets, walnut and alder. The lighter colored cabinets at the back wall are in alder with Zodiaq countertops and the backsplash utilizes colored sandblasted glass tiles. Photo Credit: John Sutton Photography
