The Oregon Dream 2017 built by Stone Bridge Homes NW has a traditional attached garage for cars and a secondary detached recreation garage with an indoor basketball court and a fully equipped bar, along with a full bath and a separate space for pool equipment. A modified Clopay Avante Collection glass garage door opens, resort-like, to a counter fronted by bar stools. On the other side of the bar is a complete beverage center with a refrigerator, ice maker and sink. The high lift vertical track follows the pitch of the vaulted roof giving ample clearance for work and play. Frosted glass panels let in natural light without compromising privacy.

Large transitional white brick exterior home idea in New York

The owners required a clean, energy efficient, green, handicapped accessible home that would feature their art collection, the magnificent views and the Colorado sky. The Rosenthal/Friedlander Residence is located in Boulder Colorado on a hillside with panoramic views of the Flatiron Mountains and the city. The design of the house is articulated by a one hundred and seventy foot long wall. This wall separates the entry court from the living space. In addition, it becomes an art wall in a fifty foot long sky lit art gallery, as well as the edge of a forty foot long reflecting pool. Project is located in Boulder, Colorado. Inspiration for a small modern partial sun backyard stone landscaping in Denver.

Excavation of this Gunite swimming pool in Roslyn, NY is started by marking up and laying out the pool according to town setbacks. We proceed with framing and establishing the pool shell’s rough height. Then the excavator will dig and shape the hole, preparing it for rebar installation. After the # 4 rebar is installed, creating a cage that outlines what will be the final shape of the Gunite swimming pool. The Gunite cement shell is installed by applying a mix of sand and Portland cement through a pump system which is pushed through a nozzle with the force of compressed air. As the cement comes out from the nozzle, water is sprayed simultaneously to create a bond between the sand and cement, forming the Gunite pool shell. In this particular pool, we also molded an autocover box on the deep end of the pool, and swim out bench with the same Gunite cement process. On the shallow end of the pool steps were also shaped in Gunite expanding across the width of the pool. At this stage the Gunite pool shell will be left to cure for 28 days, and water will be sprayed on the concrete shell daily to help the shell petrify. Stub plumbing is installed through the Gunite walls for future connection of plumbing pipes. The skimmers are also placed in the pool before Gunite is sprayed, which encases them in concrete. Plumbing for the bottom drains, and pressure relief valve are placed in the floor, in case in the future the pool needs to be emptied and ground hydraulic pressure is under the pool due to high water tables. On top of the pool shell, along the length of the pool a groove is left in the shell for future installation of the Auto Cover track. The pool shell was constructed 10″ wide for the wall and 8″ wide for the deep end bowl and shallow area floor. It was the perfect choice because the reversible boards when used as fencing look great from both an interior and exterior perspective. Inspiration for a large transitional backyard concrete patio remodel in Seattle with a fire pit and no cover

This Bradford Spa which are made with stainless steel and tile inlay. The inside dimensions of this tub are 12-ft by 8-ft and 14-ft 8-in x 9.5-ft outside dimension.

Conceived as a remodel and addition, the final design iteration for this home is uniquely multifaceted. Structural considerations required a more extensive tear down, however the clients wanted the entire remodel design kept intact, essentially recreating much of the existing home. The overall floor plan design centers on maximizing the views, while extensive glazing is carefully placed to frame and enhance them. The residence opens up to the outdoor living and views from multiple spaces and visually connects interior spaces in the inner court. The client, who also specializes in residential interiors, had a vision of ‘transitional’ style for the home, marrying clean and contemporary elements with touches of antique charm. Energy efficient materials along with reclaimed architectural wood details were seamlessly integrated, adding sustainable design elements to this transitional design. The architect and client collaboration strived to achieve modern, clean spaces playfully interjecting rustic elements throughout the home. Design ideas for a mid-sized traditional partial sun front yard stone outdoor sport court in Santa Barbara.

This project was an update and addition to a historic firehouse in Pacific Heights. The original layout included the engine room, a bunkroom and a cook’s cottage at the rear. Our work was primarily to work with a collection of odd spaces at the rear and create kids bedrooms, a light court and design a more creative and inviting court yard between the existing buildings. After the renovation the home retains the character of the firehouse with 4 bedrooms to complement the party / play space on the ground floor, and the quintessential great room upstairs.
