Designer Barbara Slavkin's concept to highlight the homeowners photo collection was pure genius and perfect for this home theater. We installed wood trim to create a frame, and the walls were painted black to serve as matting.

This mural includes three 4 x 8 foot panels. The mural depicts a historic building in downtown Grand Rapids and shows passersby reflected in the window. Two homeless children stand in an open door and look directly at the viewer. The mural was created to bring attention to the many homeless children living in abandoned buildings in our neighborhoods.
