While standard wine racks TN may not be the most showy, they are highly effective. With aesthetics in mind, we installed label-forward wine display racks as well. The result was an attractive and fully functional custom wine cellar. The high reveal display racks break the individual bottle racking up nicely. While the individual bottle racks contribute to the wine capacity of the space, the high reveal display rows take care of aesthetics. This Wilmette, IL Traditional Colonial Style Home was remodeled by Siding & Windows Group. We installed James HardiePlank Select Cedarmill Lap Siding in ColorPlus Technology Color Monterey Taupe and Traditional HardieTrim in ColorPlus Technology Color Arctic White with top and bottom frieze boards and Fypon Shutters in Black. We replaced Windows with Marvin Windows throughout the entire House and Front Entry. Also installed Entry Door and built new Roof above it.

This kitchen was totally transformed from the existing floor plan. I used a mix of horizontal walnut grain with painted cabinets. A huge amount of storage in all the drawers as well in the doors of the cooker hood and a little bread storage pull out that is usually wasted space. My signature corner drawers this time just having 2 drawers as i wanted a 2 drawer look all around the perimeter.You will see i even made the sink doors "look" like 2 drawers. There is a designated cooking area which my client loves with all his knives/spices/utensils etc all around him. I reduced the depth of the cabinets on one side to still allow for my magic number pass through space, this area has pocket doors that hold appliances keeping them hidden but accessible. My clients are thrilled with the finished look.

When we drove out to Mukilteo for our initial consultation, we immediately fell in love with this house. With its tall ceilings, eclectic mix of wood, glass and steel, and gorgeous view of the Puget Sound, we quickly nicknamed this project "The Mukilteo Gem". Our client, a cook and baker, did not like her existing kitchen. The main points of issue were short runs of available counter tops, lack of storage and shortage of light. So, we were called in to implement some big, bold ideas into a small footprint kitchen with big potential. We completely changed the layout of the room by creating a tall, built-in storage wall and a continuous u-shape counter top. Early in the project, we took inventory of every item our clients wanted to store in the kitchen and ensured that every spoon, gadget, or bowl would have a dedicated "home" in their new kitchen. The finishes were meticulously selected to ensure continuity throughout the house. We also played with the color scheme to achieve a bold yet natural feel.This kitchen is a prime example of how color can be used to both make a statement and project peace and balance simultaneously. While busy at work on our client's kitchen improvement, we also updated the entry and gave the homeowner a modern laundry room with triple the storage space they originally had. "Give me a place to stand and I shall move the Earth with a lever." - Archimedes This 5-Star Built-Green project is a three story, two-unit townhome sited on a vacant lot near the corner of 26th Ave S. and S. Judkins Street in Seattle. Due to the slender proportion of the lot, the units are arranged in a front-to-back configuration relative to the street. The street-facing, 1bedroom unit is 840sf and the east-facing, 3 bedroom unit is 1440sf. Some key features are ductless mini-split heating and Air Conditioning, tankless hot water, LED Lighting throughout, strand woven bamboo, Formaldehyde free BIBS insulation, high efficiency windows and many non-VOC paints and finishes. First Lamp acted as both designer and builder on this project.
