Inspiration for a large cottage two-story exterior home remodel in Minneapolis

This is half-round gutter. This is a beautiful style available with either internal hangers or external hanger hangers as shown in the photo. This gutter looks great on every home! It is a more expensive product and it usually suffers from over'splash due to the curve of the gutter.

Stripped of its original charm with sagging floors and water leaks, this 1900 row house was prime for a full renovation. While the staircase and marble fireplace are original, everything from the white oak flooring, crown, applied, and base moldings, to the archways and brass door hardware is new; yet they all feel original to the house. Other projects included removing soffits and tucking away randomly placed support beams and posts, relocating and expanding the kitchen, renovating each bathroom – and adding a new one, upgrading all the mechanical, electric and plumbing systems, removing a fireplace, and regrading the back patio for proper drainage and added greenery. Master Bathroom addition and bedroom renovation inspired by the interior decor of Napa Valley's luxury resort, Meadowood. The client wished to duplicate the interior feel of the detached cottages. Morse researched the facility and provided minor modifications to upgrade the existing home in El Macero, CA. A deep soaking tub with external heater and jettted pump was added to the addition. A raised deck with curved glass block wall defined the shower. Vaulted wood ceilings with exposed support trusses provided an open and spacious space in both the master bedroom and the open, adjacent bathroom. A powder bath was added to the bedroom as a separate space with similar decor. Natural slate tile was used throughout the floor, shower, tub, counter and splash. Custom copper sinks with a hammered finish were used at the vanities.

Accoya was used for all the superior decking and facades throughout the ‘Jungle House’ on Guarujá Beach. Accoya wood was also used for some of the interior paneling and room furniture as well as for unique MUXARABI joineries. This is a special type of joinery used by architects to enhance the aestetic design of a project as the joinery acts as a light filter providing varying projections of light throughout the day. The architect chose not to apply any colour, leaving Accoya in its natural grey state therefore complimenting the beautiful surroundings of the project. Accoya was also chosen due to its incredible durability to withstand Brazil’s intense heat and humidity.
