Black onyx rod railing brings the future to this home in Westhampton, New York.
.
The owners of this home in Westhampton, New York chose to install a switchback floating staircase to transition from one floor to another. They used our jet black onyx rod railing paired it with a black powder coated stringer. Wooden handrail and thick stair treads keeps the look warm and inviting. The beautiful thin lines of rods run up the stairs and along the balcony, creating security and modernity all at once.
.
Outside, the owners used the same black rods paired with surface mount posts and aluminum handrail to secure their balcony. It’s a cohesive, contemporary look that will last for years to come.

Small space living solutions are used throughout this contemporary 596 square foot tiny house. Adjustable height table in the entry area serves as both a coffee table for socializing and as a dining table for eating. Curved banquette is upholstered in outdoor fabric for durability and maximizes space with hidden storage underneath the seat. Kitchen island has a retractable countertop for additional seating while the living area conceals a work desk and media center behind sliding shoji screens.
Calming tones of sand and deep ocean blue fill the tiny bedroom downstairs. Glowing bedside sconces utilize wall-mounting and swing arms to conserve bedside space and maximize flexibility.

The slightly whimsical shower niche with thassos mosaic background and blue macaubas water jet birds (New Ravenna "Flight" pattern) was designed for my daughter, keeping in mind that she will, one day, grow up! This flight inspired nursery was designed for a family with a passion for travel. A beloved antique travel poster and existing crib were the starting points for our design. We worked with artists on etsy.com to develop some unique custom elements for the room. Our favorite is a vintage inspired plane propeller that was crafted as a childhood growth chart. In house, we crafted a paper airplane mobile from city street map inspired paper and a reclaimed bike rim. Tailored blackout lined drapes were added to soften the room and provide a light-free space for baby to rest. The patterned rug is a fun addition that has become the family’s favorite baby photo op spot! This room is bursting with unique flight inspired details that we hope will be loved by the child for years and years to come!

The Sun Air Executive Flight Center sets the standard in world class fixed base operators (FBOs). The high-tech design was inspired by the speed and technology of flight; sloping metal and glass walls, strut-supported canopies and curving rooftop equipment screens.
Remarkably, a fresh appearance was achieved despite the constraints of pre-engineered building technologies. The Flight Center has several executive amenities including a luxury terminal, modern pilot center, crew lounge, multimedia conference rooms, quiet rooms with showers, flight planning room, gourmet kitchen, office rentals, private garages, and repair facilities. Ample apron space, fueling facilities and vehicle parking are also included.
