Built-in shelves provide space for the family to display their art and books. The warm concrete floors and tree trunk column bring life and texture to the lower level's open floor plan.

This amazing vanishing edge overlooks a beautiful lake and the spa is handicapped accessible! the beautiful
symmetric waterfalls on each side accentuates the rustic look of the architecture of the house! The tile that was
selected is quite unique as it displays a huge variety of different shades of browns and blues to match those
waterfalls!

- AUTOREGGENTE TABLE.
The legs of Autoreggente, apparently slender, lean and fit against each other. The balance of forces expresses movement and instability, but the unity and solidarity of the grid generate power and strength, and the table stands firmly by itself.

Renovating existing bathroom: gutted existing full bathroom which included removing shower/tub combo, vanity, and toilet. Installed new walk in shower, with half height walls to support new grab bars in shower, new wall mounted (Hewi dementia sink with integrated handles), reused toilet, and new grab bars, heated towel bar, and heated floor mat. New design features to help with visibility issues, as well as mobility issues (client's instability in general movement)

The site runs from the ridge towards a valley with a slope greater then 40 degrees in most areas. To overcome land instability, Nvisage designed a home on steel stilts which gives maximum strength, fire and termite resistance. The house was orientated to the north to maximize natural sunlight in all rooms. The living area was designed on the top floor to gain views and sunlight and the bedrooms were designed on the lower floors. Thermal mass was designed into the top polished concrete floor. Hydronic heating was added throughout all levels fuelled by a wood combustion stove heater. All the walls, floors and ceilings were fully insulated to reduce drafts. Recycled timber wharf beams are used as feature columns in the dining room, master bedroom, bathhouse and carport. The house cascades down the slope in separate pavilions with north and east facing decks that echo the outside landscape.

Due to structural instability of the original brick fireplace and chimney the entire back of the house had to be removed and rebuilt. This provided a unique opportunity to make significant changes to the rear entrance and family room windows, significantly increasing the amount of natural light in the space.
