This beautiful pseudo-farmhouse style chicken coop sits on a lush property full of fruit trees nestled in one the nicest areas in San Diego! Built with true construction grade materials, wood milled and planed on site for uniformity, heavily stained and weatherproofed, 1/2" opening german aviary wire for full predator protection. Measures 10' long x 5' wide x 6' tall for full walk in access. It is home to beautiful rare and exotic chickens that we provided as well as all the necessary implements. Features textured wood siding, a fold down door that doubles as a coop-to-run ramp, thermal corrugated roofing over run area and more!

Inspiration for a cottage shed remodel in Salt Lake City

This project was an exploration in taking and urban corner lot and transforming it into and urban farm of sorts. The project incorporated rainwater tanks, raised vegetable beds, fruit trees, chicken coop, prefab studio, composite deck, poured in place concrete, pre-cast concrete, custom wood features, a green wall, custom bench/fountain, lighting, swimming pool with solar hot water heating, an outdoor kitchen, drip irrigation which is controlled by smart phone, landscape lighting which can be controlled by smart phone. A fun project where we melded contemporary elements with sustainable/ self sufficient principles.

Star Jasmine isplanted around the run-- not harmful to chickens. As it grows it will blend the run into the garden and create more shady areas for the chickens. Human access to the run is concealed as one of the frame squares. The frame will be painted to match the house trim color. Dark vinyl coated chicken wire was used to be less visually noticeable. The stair pots provide room for herbs to grow.

This beautiful modern style coop we built and installed has found its home in beautiful rural Alpine, CA! This unique unit includes a large 8' x 8' x 6' chicken run attached a half shed / half chicken coop combination! Shed/Coop ("Shoop") measures 8' x 4' x 7'6" and is divided down the center to allow for chickens on one side and storage on the other. It is built on skids to deter moisture and digging from underside. Coop has a larger nesting box that open from the outside, a full size barn style door for access to both sides, small coop to run ramp door, thermal composite corrugated roofing with opposing ridgecap and more! Chicken run area has clear UV corrugated roofing. This country style fits in nicely to the darling property it now calls home. This is a custom-made Carolina Coop that has an overall footprint of 10' x 30' with a 6'x10' henhouse. It has a ChickenGuardian automatic run door, board and batten siding, cupola, two 5-gang egg hutches. This walk-through shows some other features including the 10-nipple poultry water bar. It also is wired with soffit lighting all around the coop.
