There was no place for heavy draperies in this cozy seaside home. Plantation shutters better fit the mood and space. A custom headboard and bedskirt remove the need for a space guzzling footboard and keep the look clean and simple. The color scheme is monochromatic blue/grays except for a splash of orange here and there.

The gray and lavender pallet in this dining room delivers a Zen-like experience. It appears that this is a black and white photographic image, but it is not the case. The subtle tones are so cool and calming that they translate as a range of grays in the photo. The soft color scheme is wonderfully pure and a perfect ally in a space designed to nourish. The goal of this bath was to create a spa-like feel. Opting for the dominant color of white accented by sage green contributed to the successful outcome. A 54” white vanity with double sinks topped with Carrera marble continued the monochromatic color scheme. The Eva collection of Moen brand fixtures in a brushed nickel finish were selected for the faucet, towel ring, paper holder, and towel bars. Double bands of glass mosaic tile and niche backing accented the 3x6 Brennero Carrera tile on the shower walls. A Moentrol valve faucet was installed in the shower in order to have force and flow balance.
