This room was built as a multi-purpose family room. Integrated theater system with 75" television and top of the line speakers make it perfect for Sunday afternoon games. There is a built in Murphy bed and full closet in the room. The window seat includes both open shelves and hidden storage as well as recessed bookcases and the cushion is twin size for easy extra sleeping.

Located just off the carport, this multi-purpose laundry room not only doubles as prep space for catering crews, it works for year-round package wrapping on the quartz island countertop. I designed long drawers on one side to hold rolls of wrapping paper and I added convenient baskets on the side facing the washer and dryer for sorting laundry. A bright, white, multipurpose guestroom/craft room/office with shaker style doors and drawers an storage in every corner. This room was custom built for the client to include storage for every craft /office item and still provide space for the occasional guest with a moveable/rolling island workspace.

We met these clients through a referral from a previous client. We renovated several rooms in their traditional-style farmhouse in Abington. The kitchen is farmhouse chic, with white cabinetry, black granite counters, Carrara marble subway tile backsplash, and a beverage center. The large island, with its white quartz counter, is multi-functional, with seating for five at the counter and a bench on the end with more seating, a microwave door, a prep sink and a large area for prep work, and loads of storage. The kitchen includes a large sitting area with a corner fireplace and wall mounted television. The multi-purpose mud room has custom built lockers for coats, shoes and bags, a built-in desk and shelving, and even space for kids to play! This family room at Deja View Villa, a Caribbean Vacation Rental in St. John USVI is a fantastic multi purpose room! Seven can sleep in this luxurious bunk room that doubles as a family room and media room. It features five Twin XL bunks and one King bunk on the right side. Color is the design theme of this room with the 17' long Italian blue leather sectional sofa, Caribbean blue pool table, orange curtains, Louisiana tongue and groove cypress on the ceiling and lime green walls. Motion sensor blue lights are under each step with two bunk stair cases and led lights illuminate the custom beach pictures in each bunk. Home theater - contemporary home theater idea in Atlanta

It’s common today to create multi-purpose spaces in your home. Whether it’s a home office and gym or a laundry and mudroom combo, families are looking to maximize every inch of space. We were called in to do just that for this local Amarillo homeowner and she knew exactly what she wanted, a matching addition to her existing brick ranch. This new space was needed to accommodate a private space for visiting guests throughout the year. Since this room would only be used occasionally as a bedroom, the homeowner also wished to use it as an exercise room. How can this be accomplished? With a murphy bed! We set out to design the addition to blend seamlessly with the existing house using the same windows, doors and exterior brick. Inside the addition, a Murphy bed is flanked with custom built-ins featuring open shelving on the top and cabinets on the bottom. The room overlooks the pool and has it’s own private entrance, separate from the main home. The adjoining bath features a tile shower with glass surround, a closet and two skylights. When not being used as a bedroom, the Murphy bed folds nicely into the wall and the floor space can be used for yoga or other floor exercises. The treadmill fits nicely in the room even when the bed is folded down.
