This 3,569-square foot, 3-story new build was part of Dallas's Green Build Program. This minimalist rocker pad boasts beautiful energy efficiency, painted brick, wood beams and serves as the perfect backdrop to Dallas' favorite landmarks near popular attractions, like White Rock Lake and Deep Ellum; a melting pot of art, music, and nature. Walk into this home and you're greeted with industrial accents and minimal Mid-Century Modern flair. Expansive windows flood the open-floor plan living room/dining area in light. The homeowner wanted a pristine space that reflects his love of alternative rock bands. To bring this into his new digs, all the walls were painted white and we added pops of bold colors through custom-framed band posters, paired with velvet accents, vintage-inspired patterns, and jute fabrics. A modern take on hippie style with masculine appeal. A gleaming example of how eclectic-chic living can have a place in your modern abode, showcased by nature, music memorabilia and bluesy hues. The bedroom is a masterpiece of contrast. The dark hued walls contrast with the room's luxurious velvet cognac bed. Fluted mid-century furniture is found alongside metal and wood accents with greenery, which help to create an opulent, welcoming atmosphere for this home. “When people come to my home, the first thing they say is that it looks like a magazine! Inspiration for a transitional bedroom remodel in Dallas

Folding doors at the end of the family room open to bring the pool inside. A strong visual axis connects the fire pavilion and pool with the family room, encouraging a walk outside to the distant jewel. High windows and vertical siding are inspiration to invoke the interior of a barn. The family room is open and comfortable for small or large gatherings.

Cape Cod; Dennis, MA This open-concept living and dining area features a bright and inviting Cape Cod aesthetic, creating a perfect space for both relaxation and entertaining. The living room is anchored by two tufted yellow armchairs covered in a sunbrella fabric with navy piping, which provide a vibrant pop of color. The chairs are paired with a patterned upholstered ottoman and a round coffee table with a mirrored top, creating a cozy and stylish seating arrangement. The fireplace, framed by a classic white mantel, features a herringbone-patterned firebox and a television mounted above, blending traditional charm with modern media needs. A large, patterned area rug in shades of red, blue, and cream defines the living space and adds warmth to the hardwood floors. In the adjacent dining area, a large farmhouse-style table is surrounded by classic black Windsor chairs, creating a striking contrast with the light-colored walls and the long window bank that brightens the entire space. A decorative brass chandelier hangs above the table, adding a touch of elegance. The overall design harmonizes traditional coastal elements with functional, comfortable furnishings to create a welcoming home environment.

A contemporary villa was truly enhanced by Briggs Edward Solomon (www.briggsedwardsolomon.com) as part of a renovation where luxury was mixed with organic finishes and natural hues. The whiteness of the tailor made wood provided by Oscar Ono (www.oscarono.fr) gives this home a delightfully chic atmosphere. Sophisticated textures highlight the outstanding volumes of a villa that celebrates the art of coastal living.

Continuing the theme, the living room is made up of a red, pink and gray. The Amy Butler area rug sets the stage for a room like no other. Contemporary sofas flank a coffee table by Brent Comber. These new homeowners fell in love with this home's location and size, but weren't thrilled about it's dated exterior. They approached us with the idea of turning this 1980's contemporary home into a Modern Farmhouse aesthetic, complete with white board and batten siding, a new front porch addition, a new roof deck addition, as well as enlarging the current garage. New windows throughout, new metal roofing, exposed rafter tails and new siding throughout completed the exterior renovation.
