High ceilings and ample windows offer plenty of light and an amazing view in this neutral master bedroom. Woven blinds and ivory and beige embroidered draperies hang from bronze hardware, adding subtle pattern and texture. Dark walnut stained flooring rests under a large, upholstered bed covered in an ivory vinyl and trimmed with bronze nail heads. The bedding, from Legacy Linens, has simple elegance, while hand embroidered pillows finish off the look. At the end of the bed sits a bench covered in a soft, sage green ultra-suede. Antique brass lamps filled with river rocks sit atop bedside tables, painted black and accented with metallic copper Greek key designs. Interior doors, painted charcoal grey with bronze door hardware, add just the right amount of contrast.

This Year Round Betterliving Sunroom addition in Rochester, MA is a big hit with friends and neighbors alike! After seeing neighbors add a sunroom to their home – this family had to get one (and more of the neighbors followed in their footsteps, too)! Our design expert and skilled craftsmen turned an open space into a comfortable porch to keep the bugs and elements out! This style of sunroom is called a fill-in sunroom because it was built into the existing porch. Fill-in sunrooms are simple to install and take less time to build as we can typically use the existing porch to build on. All windows and doors are custom manufactured at Betterliving’s facility to fit under the existing porch roof.

The clients—a chef and a baker—desired a light-filled space with stylish function allowing them to cook, bake and entertain. Craig expanded the kitchen by removing a wall, vaulted the ceiling and enlarged the windows.

Our client wanted a simple, rectangle pool, long enough for swimming laps. Their desire was for simplicity and understated elegance. A reverse negative edge, flowing back toward the house is both visually enticing, and creates a pleasant babbling brook sound, as the water trickles down the stair- stepped Pennsylvania ledgestone face. The water flows into a hidden trough filled with Mexican beach pebble.

From the street, a round rock pathway leads to a small seating area next to the water with a small fire pit. Low maintenance, drought resistant and salt tolerant plantings were used in mass and clumps. This garden has become the focus of the neighborhood with many visitors stopping and enjoying what has become a neighborhood landmark. Located on the shores of Puget Sound in Washington State. Have the salt air of the sea without going to the beach! We can custom build your sauna with a salt wall using real blocks of salt. The steam releases the salt into the air to give a revitalizing breath to open up the lungs and further relax the body. This type of design is recommended for those with allergy issues. Featured in this photo are also our adjustable Serenity benches that act like recliners. The lower benches are curved. The floors have cedar tiles. We can design any of our traditional saunas to include any of the features pictured here.
