Total renovation of a traditional master bathroom into a modern showpiece. m.a.p. interiors created the new floor plan, custom designed the floating vanities and other built-ins, and selected all the finishing materials for the space. The result is a serene master bath with spa quality and understated elegance.

When my client purchased this house it had not been updated since the 1950's. We did a major remodel of the enitre main floor of the home and did a complete overhaul to the kitchen and the guest bathroom. My client wanted a simple, classic and timeless design for their home. We acheieved this through the use of clean lines, classic shaker style cabinets, beautiful creamy-gray granite countertops and oli-rubbed bronze hardware throughout. We kept the color pallet warm, yet neutral to give it an elegant and timeless look. --- Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. New Construction- The big challenge of this kitchen was the lack of wall cabinet space due to the large number of windows, and the client’s desire to have furniture in the kitchen . The view over a private lake is worth the trade, but finding a place to put dishes and glasses became problematic. The house was designed by Architect, Jack Jenkins and he allowed for a walk in pantry around the corner that accommodates smaller countertop appliances, food and a second refrigerator. Back at the Kitchen, Dishes & glasses were placed in drawers that were customized to accommodate taller tumblers. Base cabinets included rollout drawers to maximize the storage. The bookcase acts as a mini-drop off for keys on the way out the door. A second oven was placed on the island, so the microwave could be placed higher than countertop level on one of the only walls in the kitchen. Wall space was exclusively dedicated to appliances. The furniture pcs in the kitchen was selected and designed into the plan with dish storage in mind, but feels spontaneous in this casual and warm space. Homeowners have grown children, who are often home. Their extended family is very large family. Father’s Day they had a small gathering of 24 people, so the kitchen was the heart of activity. The house has a very restful feel and casually entertain often.Multiple work zones for multiple people. This brick and limestone, 6,000-square-foot residence exemplifies understated elegance. Located in the award-wining Blaine School District and within close proximity to the Southport Corridor, this is city living at its finest! The foyer, with herringbone wood floors, leads to a dramatic, hand-milled oval staircase; an architectural element that allows sunlight to cascade down from skylights and to filter throughout the house. The floor plan has stately-proportioned rooms and includes formal Living and Dining Rooms; an expansive, eat-in, gourmet Kitchen/Great Room; four bedrooms on the second level with three additional bedrooms and a Family Room on the lower level; a Penthouse Playroom leading to a roof-top deck and green roof; and an attached, heated 3-car garage. Additional features include hardwood flooring throughout the main level and upper two floors; sophisticated architectural detailing throughout the house including coffered ceiling details, barrel and groin vaulted ceilings; painted, glazed and wood paneling; laundry rooms on the bedroom level and on the lower level; five fireplaces, including one outdoors; and HD Video, Audio and Surround Sound pre-wire distribution through the house and grounds. This basement guest bath features 9cm Pental quartz counters with Decolav vessel sink and Moen 90 Degree Open-Trough fixtures. The walnut linen cabinet provides a break by the toilet to visually separate this space (a great trick when there's not enough room for a separate toilet area).

Beautiful white kitchen with vaulted ceiling and two golden lanterns above the large island. Favorite Calacatta marble featured on the countertops and backsplash keep this kitchen fresh, clean, and updated. Plenty of room to seat three or four at the island. With additional friends and family at the banquette in the bay window.

Bedroom - country bedroom idea in Philadelphia

An original turn-of-the-century Craftsman home had lost it original charm in the kitchen and bathroom, both renovated in the 1980s. The clients desired to restore the original look, while still giving the spaces an updated feel. Both rooms were gutted and new materials, fittings and appliances were installed, creating a strong reference to the history of the home, while still moving the house into the 21st century.
