Morgante Wilson Architects Morgante Wilson designed a pool table area that included our clients record album covers mounted above a custom zinc-wrapped drink ledge and Lee Industries slip-covered counter stools. The media area was designed around an upside-down U-shape barn wood panels. The barn wood panel shown partially covering the album covers was designed to hide and allow access to the electrical panels located on the wall behind.

Urban Townhome Breakfast RoomLORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASIDThis lovely breakfast room, overlooking the garden, is an inviting place to start your day lingering over Sunday morning coffee. I had the walls painted in a soft coral, contrasting with various wood tones in the armoire, table and shades. It is all tied together by keeping the chair covers and rug light in color. The crystal chandelier is an unexpected element in a breakfast room, yet, your not compelled to pull out the china and silver.
Beach House Living
Pu'uwai Design & ConstructionThe living room has a built-in media niche. The cabinet doors are paneled in white to match the walls while the top is a natural live edge in Monkey Pod wood. The feature wall was highlighted by the use of modular arts in the same color as the walls but with a texture reminiscent of ripples on water. On either side of the TV hang a cluster of wooden pendants. The paneled walls and ceiling are painted white creating a seamless design. The teak glass sliding doors pocket into the walls creating an indoor-outdoor space. The great room is decorated in blues, greens and whites, with a jute rug on the floor, a solid log coffee table, slip covered white sofa, and custom blue and green throw pillows.

The dining room overlooks the Malibu beach. Chairs are covered with custom embroidered blue and white slip covers that can be changed seasonally. A blue and white area rug softens the area.

Shelley Morris InteriorsAfter just completing a project for a client's second home, the house accidentally caught fire and most of the exisiting structure and furnishings was burned. This unfortunate episode allowed us an opportunity to create the dream home that our clients always wanted. After the fire, we were able to remodel an entirely new space including a wood celing with beams, venetian plaster walls, and wide plank white oak flooring. The installation although eclectic, reflects a mediterranean atmosphere filled with light and texture.

Tweak Your SpaceKeeping with the coastal feel of the rest of the home, we painted this room a nice wheat color and installed tall, crisp, white wainscoting with a shelf for the homeowners to keep sea shells. Then we took their existing dining table, painted it white, and slipcovered their chairs with white linen fabric. Above the table we hung an antique crystal chandelier and painted the homeowners' sideboard white to complete the look.
