This remodel took a dated and cramped bathroom and transformed it into a classy oasis for our Lowry clients. The clients had a limited budget and wanted to leave the space as in-place as possible. However, the large drop in tub ate valuable floor space and a half wall between the shower and tub had become a holding place for random items without a home. The thick frame on the shower glass made the shower feel extremely small, and the dated lighting and fixtures further depressed the space. We proposed a traditional and elegant design that consider the client's budgetary and spatial constraints. We removed the existing drop-in tub and replaced it with a lovely free-standing soaker. The length of this tub is short, but the depth is exaggerated, making it an ideal replacement in this tiny footprint. The shower glass was swapped for framless glass that boldly expands space. We tore out the existing carpet and installed gorgeous wood-look tile that adds depth and warmth to the room. The clients opted to keep their existing vanity to save cost, so a new top was added to bring the aesthetic up to the level of the new additions. The wall paint was taken from a buttery yellow to a soft gray-green, accented by a darker version of this same color on the siding barn door and toilet room door. New vanity lights, faucets, and storage shelves were installed to help our clients organize and keep things off the counter tops. Finally, new custom up-down window shades were curated for the bathroom to add to the final touch. This space is a simple scope with a dramatic transformation that introduces a timeless look for years to come.

Alexander Kitchens
Contemporary German Kitchen in Rustington, West Sussex
Aron has created a subtle grey theme for this Rustington project, with natural surfaces and lovely personal inclusions.
The Brief
This Rustington client required a modernisation of their kitchen space with special inclusions to suit the way they wanted to use their new kitchen.
A breakfast bar island was sought after, as a place to perch and for casual eating, with a gloss finish and soft pastel tones a preferred theme. Whilst undertaking the works flooring and heating improvements were also required.
Design Elements
Designer Aron conjured a simple u-shape layout to make the most of this space, incorporating a breakfast bar as required, with decorative storage featured above.
Gloss furniture in a Satin Grey finish has been utilised, which reflects around the space to make the room feel larger. The furniture is complemented by Silestone Quartz surfaces, which have been chosen in a natural grey Moorland Fog finish.
The client has chosen to incorporate their favoured pastel colour in the form of a glass splashback, which works well with the Satin Grey cabinetry.
Karndean flooring has been installed within the kitchen as well as in most of the downstairs space in this property. A full-height radiator has also been installed to provide plenty of warmth to the kitchen.
Special Inclusions
High-performance Neff appliances were specified to provide long-lasting functions to the kitchen. The client has opted for a single Slide & Hide oven, combination oven and warming drawer to help them with cooking duties.
Elsewhere a Neff hob, integrated extractor hood and refrigerator complete the appliance requirements for this project.
To decorate the space, this client has opted for some nice storage areas. An underlit shelf is a nice feature and space to store decorative items, which looks particularly nice with the undercabinet lighting also opted for.
Quartz work surfaces have been installed on the large window sill, which has been nicely decorated with plants and decorations.
Project Highlight
The highlight of this project was the breakfast bar area.
It provides a place to eat at any time of day or a nice space to catch up with friends and has been enhanced with glass-fronted wall cabinets and integrated lighting.
This area also helps to equip the kitchen with extra built-in storage.
The End Result
The end result is a kitchen that incorporates all the requirements of the client and more!
In a relatively compact space, Aron has designed a complete and functional kitchen, with plenty of special inclusions and decorative features for this Rustington client.

Leclair Decor
We are a young newly wed couple who decided to ask for cash gifts at our wedding so we could decorate our new digs. We received the keys the morning after becoming Mr & Mrs Leclair, and to this day we have yet to take a honeymoon. Both of us had a brewing passion for modern interior decorating that needed to be fulfilled. Our previous 1 bedroom apartment was a great warm up but the real challenge was ahead. We received generous gifts to get us started but after the wedding, closing costs and a few unexpected costs we were left with a fairly conservative budget to work with.
First up was painting. None of the existing loud colours in the house were really to our liking. So started the giant task of painting every single wall in the house. Oh, and throw the garage and front entrance doors in there also. Thankfully Melissa works at a paint store so we were able to receive a few free cans and some really good deals on others. Quick shout out to Benjamin Moore and Pittsburgh Paints reps. After accomplishing this feat (with the help of family & friends) we decided a few walls needed some punch. A little wallpaper you say? Why not.
Next up was lighting. Most of the fixtures were out of date or not giving us the desired effects. With the help of our handy uncle Rob, we changed every single fixture in the house and out. A few have actually been changed twice. Always a learning curb, right? We splurged on a few pendants from specialized shops but most have been big box store purchases to keep us on budget. Don’t worry, when we strike it rich we’ll have Moooi pendants galore.
After the hard (wasn’t that bad) labor came time to pick furniture pieces to fill out the house. We had ordered most of the big ticket items before the move but we still needed to find the filler pieces. Had a great time driving around town and meeting local shop owners. After most of the furniture shopping was complete we had next to nothing left over for art and a lot of empty walls needed some love. Most of the art in the house are pictures we took ourselves, had printed locally and mounted in Ikea frames. We also headed down to the local art supply store and bought a few canvases on sale. Using left over house paint we created some large bold abstract pieces.
A year has now passed since we first got the keys and we’re, mostly done. Being home owners now, we also realized that we’ll never actually be done. There’s always something to improve upon. Melissa’s office hung in the balance of our undecided minds but after a recent retro chair purchase we’ve been re-inspired. That room is coming along nicely and we should have pictures up shortly. Most of what we’ve done are cosmetic changes. We still plan on upgrading the kitchen, upstairs bath and replacing the old carpets for some swanky hardwood floors. All in due time.
Enough chitter chatter you say? Let’s get into the good stuff…
Leicht Westchester-Greenwich
At this beautiful LEICHT Westchester project, The original design was traditional, with a layout involving many angled corners. The goal was to streamline the design and create a modern and more functional space. We accomplished this first by squaring off all corners, rotating the island and enlarging the main window to add more sunlight and visual balance. In the new design, there is ample pantry space, large pots/pans drawer storage and an appliance garage unit to hide away small items to keep the countertop clutter-free. An open display unit with built-in LED lighting allows the homeowner a place to showcase her beautiful artwork.

Wanting to ensure accessibility and functionality of their new home, the homeowners opted to include both a home elevator and dumbwaiter into their design. The elevator pairs fully automatic, sleek, stainless steel side sliding doors with anodized aluminum fixtures. Not only adding style but nearly “hands free” access to every level of the home. The cab’s interior was custom finished by the general contractor to match the home’s modern simplicity design. The floor-loading dumbwaiter allows for heavier items to be transported with more ease from the wine cellar to the main floor. The stainless-steel finish and corresponding fixtures tie in flawlessly with the elevator and the decor of the home. This Modern Marvel will make the perfect home for multigeneration living for years to come.
Austin Bean Design Studio
“Youthfulness”, “history”, “craftsmanship” — these were the characteristics driving the design of this home. The homeowners wanted the space to have a casual elegance but they definitely didn’t want anything too precious so that their two dogs could comfortably roam free throughout the house. The key was to get new furnishings that had a vintage patina that way any new scrapes and overall wear-and-tear would easily blend in. Since one of the main features that the young couple wanted was “texture”, items in aged leather, woven jute and sisal, antiqued mirror fit the scheme perfectly.
User
This design is kept simple and is free of heavy textiles and pattern, in line with the Asian influenced, minimal design shown throughout this contemporary home. Incorporating uniquely shaped items like the sleek round back dining chairs and the textural branch and tree arrangements, add interest through form and geometry.

Project Description:
Step into the embrace of nature with our latest bathroom design, "Jungle Retreat." This expansive bathroom is a harmonious fusion of luxury, functionality, and natural elements inspired by the lush greenery of the jungle.
Bespoke His and Hers Black Marble Porcelain Basins:
The focal point of the space is a his & hers bespoke black marble porcelain basin atop a 160cm double drawer basin unit crafted in Italy. The real wood veneer with fluted detailing adds a touch of sophistication and organic charm to the design.
Brushed Brass Wall-Mounted Basin Mixers:
Wall-mounted basin mixers in brushed brass with scrolled detailing on the handles provide a luxurious touch, creating a visual link to the inspiration drawn from the jungle. The juxtaposition of black marble and brushed brass adds a layer of opulence.
Jungle and Nature Inspiration:
The design draws inspiration from the jungle and nature, incorporating greens, wood elements, and stone components. The overall palette reflects the serenity and vibrancy found in natural surroundings.
Spacious Walk-In Shower:
A generously sized walk-in shower is a centrepiece, featuring tiled flooring and a rain shower. The design includes niches for toiletry storage, ensuring a clutter-free environment and adding functionality to the space.
Floating Toilet and Basin Unit:
Both the toilet and basin unit float above the floor, contributing to the contemporary and open feel of the bathroom. This design choice enhances the sense of space and allows for easy maintenance.
Natural Light and Large Window:
A large window allows ample natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The connection with the outdoors brings an additional layer of tranquillity to the design.
Concrete Pattern Tiles in Green Tone:
Wall and floor tiles feature a concrete pattern in a calming green tone, echoing the lush foliage of the jungle. This choice not only adds visual interest but also contributes to the overall theme of nature.
Linear Wood Feature Tile Panel:
A linear wood feature tile panel, offset behind the basin unit, creates a cohesive and matching look. This detail complements the fluted front of the basin unit, harmonizing with the overall design.
"Jungle Retreat" is a testament to the seamless integration of luxury and nature, where bespoke craftsmanship meets organic inspiration. This bathroom invites you to unwind in a space that transcends the ordinary, offering a tranquil retreat within the comforts of your home.

Alexander Kitchens
Contemporary British Kitchen in Merstham, Surrey
Two glitzy gloss finishes combine in this designer kitchen, with premium appliance choices and a built-in TV area.
The Brief
A glitzy, designer-style kitchen was required for this kitchen project in Merstham, Surrey, with designer George tasked with combining several textures and finishes to create the desired aesthetic.
Premium appliance choices were also an element of the brief, with an in-keeping TV area also specified as part of the project.
Design Elements
To achieve the designer aesthetic required, two bold finishes from our British supplier Mereway have been combined. The finishes are Champagne Metallic, used for the island and wall units, and Copper Gloss which is used for the base and full-height units.
The furniture has been utilised in handleless form throughout the kitchen, with matt black handrails complimenting the contemporary style of the space.
The layout ensures there is plenty of storage space throughout the kitchen whilst a long island area provides plenty of workspace as well as a place to perch.
Vanilla Noir quartz work surfaces have been used everywhere in the space and to add a feature to the island a waterfall edge has been incorporated.
Special Inclusions
High-tech appliance choices add further to the modern style of this kitchen.
On the island, a Bora Pure venting hob is included opposite two Neff slide & hide ovens. Elsewhere in the kitchen a Neff full-height refrigerator, full-height freezer and dishwasher have been integrated behind furniture.
The Quooker boiling tap removes the need for a traditional kettle and provides a consistent stream of 100°C boiling water.
Near the sink area, a built-in wine cabinet has also been included to chill drinks to a precise temperature.
Project Highlight
At the end of the room, a custom TV area has been created in matching style to the kitchen area. This space nicely frames the TV and adds extra storage to the kitchen space.
Feature shelving has also been included as a place for decorative items, with undercabinet lighting adding to the ambience of this area.
The End Result
The end result of this project is a nicely balanced, bold and impactful kitchen space. The two chosen finishes combine perfectly with other glitzy accents in the room, whilst appliance choices will ensure the kitchen is functional when in use.

McCoy Homes, Inc.
Beautiful spec home build that boasts an open floor plan design. The designer worked with blue color pallet as inspiration throughout this home project. The master bath in this home was designed to give a spa like escape to the lady of the home. A free standing tub was used in the master in place of a drop in tub. The family room has a beautiful stone fireplace with bookcases to give the room a beautiful room feeling. The fireplace wall was also given a unique look to draw the eye to that wall as a focal point in the room. A drop zone was added into the laundry area just inside the garage entrance which has both benches as well as cubbies for the homeowners to be able to drop items when returning from activities during their daily routines.

Powell Construction
This primary suite bathroom is a tranquil retreat, you feel it from the moment you step inside! Though the color scheme is soft and muted, the dark vanity and luxe gold fixtures add the perfect touch of drama. Wood look wall tile mimics the lines of the ceiling paneling, bridging the rustic and contemporary elements of the space.
The large free-standing tub is an inviting place to unwind and enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding trees. To accommodate plumbing for the wall-mounted tub filler, we bumped out the wall under the window, which also created a nice ledge for items like plants or candles.
We installed a mosaic hexagon floor tile in the bathroom, continuing it through the spacious walk-in shower. A small format tile like this is slip resistant and creates a modern, elevated look while maintaining a classic appeal. The homeowners selected a luxurious rain shower, and a handheld shower head which provides a more versatile and convenient option for showering.
Reconfiguring the vanity’s L-shaped layout opened the space visually, but still allowed ample room for double sinks. To supplement the under counter storage, we added recessed medicine cabinets above the sinks. Concealed behind their beveled, matte black mirrors, they are a refined update to the bulkier medicine cabinets of the past.
