The gorgeous shower was designed with geometric black and white hex tile with a bleed out pattern towards the ceiling. A floating teak bench and black plumbing fixtures were installed to accent the black trim throughout.

An amazing architectural space with floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows, providing incredible light to this penthouse in the heart of Tribeca. With the designer’s instinctive implementation of Feng Shui in all of her designs, she incorporated fundamental Feng Shui principles, the five natural elements and the concept of yin and yang to create the lay out that would bring in the perfect energy flow. This Dutch colonial was designed for a NBA Coach and his family. It was very important that the home be warm, tailored and friendly while remaining functional to create an atmosphere for entertainment as well as resale. This was accomplished by using the same paint color throughout the 11,000 sq.ft home while each space conveyed a different feeling. The watery Venetian damask from Zoffany sets the mood for this Pied a Terre bedroom. We wrapped the room in a color pulled from the paper, even the doors and moldings are in this color. The wallpaper softens the hard lines of the industrial style metal bed from CB2. To purists the placement of the refurbished Mid Century nightstands with the wallpaper may seem inappropriate, but I think the nightstands are a tailored response to the exuberance of the paper. Also, if you watch TCM on a regular basis you would see such mixes all the time. The Chinese Mirror and Japanese prints reflect my client's interest in Asia and add another layer to the mix.

A youthful and fun, family friendly living room space with a midcentury modern twist. Original art and vintage lighting combine with tailored upholstered furniture and layered graphic rugs.

A great feature to the loft is the wall dividing the guest room from the main living space. Being open across the top means that natural light from the living area illuminates the otherwise window-less room. Much of Weiss's art collection comes from artists that she knows or has worked with, and in many cases they are represented at Weisshouse. The large format photograph by Chris Karavaugh is a purchase from Mendelson Gallery, a local gallery nearby to her home. The scale of the piece stands up to the open volume above, whereas something smaller could get lost. Tailored black armchairs round out the area, while a vintage Karabagh rug adds a dose of color.
