The top of the hill shows how dramatic the surrounding landform is while looking through the plantings on the hillside down to the pool and bluestone pool paving. A key feature of the design is the stone coping that merges seamlessly into the stone paving without a definitive edge. The client, who lives out of the Country most of the time, desired a regal haven for their quaint and quiet resort style living to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and dramatic sunsets views. One of the desires of the client was to provide a balance between the Formality and Sensibility. Our design included a formal and dramatic raised infinity Pool, which is connected by way of a terraced water runnel, to an infinity Spa located just off the French doors of the master bedroom. The infinity Pool being raised allows for a wonderful connection of water bodies between the Ocean. and the Pool. Other amenities of the design includes a solid roof extension creating a quaint outdoor dining room to enjoy the stately nearby cook center. Additional elements to highlight this vacation retreat include multiple water features, warm limestone paving, refined pottery accents, with multiple patios and seating areas to enjoy for almost any function or purpose. All these fantastic features are wrapped together in a colorful palette of eclectic Mediterranean plantings, which elegantly provides that balance of classical function and lush aesthetics.

Pool - contemporary pool idea in Boston with decking

We created this natural swimming pool in Southlake, TX featuring natural rock work and three separate swimming pool areas. The diving pool features a 1"x1" glass tile slide and a rock diving board. The play pool includes four glass tile swim up bar stools and the hot spring inspired spa overlooks the sunken bar area with custom cedar pergola. Swimming pool landscaping, landscape lighting, Olympic-grade underwater speakers, and state of the art pool equipment and pool hydraulics make this pool outstanding.

The local fieldstone blend covering the facade, the roof pitch, roofing materials, and architectural details of the new pool structure matches that of the main house. The rough hewn trusses in the hearth room mimic the structural components of the family room in the main house. Sliding barn doors at the front & back of the poorhouse allow the structure to be fully opened or closed. To provide access for cords of firewood to be delivered directly to the pool house, a cart path was cut through the woods from the driveway around the back of the house.
