Anlon Custom Homes welcomes you to Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) a term that perfectly describes the home which makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Duett Interiors accomplished this with the rustic, woodsy charm of simple Swedish and Danish decor and the down-to-earth, practical feel of an American style farmhouse. The blend of these two aesthetics results in a home that is as comfortable as it is beautiful.
A Modern Farmhouse in the heart of Happy Valley built for a wonderful family of four. Hygge was designed for generational living, it’s inspired by and grounded from this family’s international travel, along with the Danish and Norwegian lifestyles. Come inside and experience feelings of wellness and contentment throughout. Anlon Custom Homes has built this 5,200 sq. ft. custom home as a cozy sanctuary for this well-travelled family.
A Grand Entry welcomes you with its traditional farmhouse charm, a cobblestone inspired floor pattern that leads you to a rustic diagonal wood pattern floor, that flows throughout the home. Hygge’s kitchen and open living area are an entertainer’s dream that leads directly to a spacious patio and backyard oasis. There is a large owner's and guest room on the main level, making this multigenerational home as practical as it is gracious. Adventure and whimsy await around every corner, with a contemporary media room adorned with futbol fandom and a powder room inspired by Chefchaouen, Morocco.
Up half a flight of beautiful wood stairs you will be led to a spacious bonus room complete with a hidden door leading to the exercise room and climbing wall. Venture up another half flight of stairs, and you are greeted by bright and colorful children’s bedrooms and bathrooms. This lovely home is full of warm surprises and lives up to the Hygge name.

Richmond Commercial Painting
There are many challenges in Milwaukee commercial exterior painting.
With such a wide variety of building fascia materials requiring different coatings, materials and application equipment, there are varying environmental and atmospheric conditions to deal with and elaborate equipment required to complete many of the jobs. Hi-rise buildings need staging, weatherproofing, special machinery and applicator lifts to reach all surfaces.
One of the toughest challenges is the requirement to complete the Milwaukee commercial exterior painting project while the business or government office is in continuous operation. All of this requires professionalism, experience, expertise and knowledge that can only be gained by years of work with the diverse coatings and equipment that is necessary to complete large exterior commercial painting projects.
Richmond Painting is regularly selected by facility owners and general contracting firms. For the right commercial exterior painting job, we’ll travel as far south as Libertyville, IL and as far north as Mequon, WI. From where we are centrally located in Racine, WI, Richmond Commercial Painting dispatches professional crews and equipment to paint commercial building exteriors throughout the area.
Commercial Exterior Painting ServicesAt Richmond Commercial Painting our professionals are available to assist with every aspect of the exterior commercial painting project, from planning, to design, to budgeting, to application and completion. With a solid record of projects completed on time and within budget, our expertise will make any job move like a well-oiled machine; smoothly and quietly.
Whether the job requirements are for using elastomeric coatings to weatherproof masonry exterior walls, applying two-part epoxies, spraying high-solids paint for protecting exposed metal, or any of the other specialty architectural coatings, we have the experience, equipment and highly trained personnel to satisfactorily complete the project. We can also tap a network of competent tuck-and- point subcontractors to repair any joints, corners or sprawls in brick or masonry.
Our experienced project managers provide their years of background in all types of exterior coatings jobs to make every commercial painting project a successful joint venture with the owner, architect-designer and/or general contractor. We effectively dovetail our portion of the project with those of the other trades, contributing to a smooth “critical flow” on the job.
Our portfolio of successfully completed projects includes all types of commercial exterior painting projects: hotels, hi-rise office buildings, factories, warehouses, industrial parks, schools, churches, apartment buildings and just about every other type of commercial facility you can find around Milwaukee.
Our clients have learned that with the professional, commercial exterior painting services provided by Richmond Painting, Inc., a job done right the first time saves money over one that requires a number of return visits to the job to touch-up or correct flaws. Keeping that in mind, we’ve found that it really costs no more in the long run to hire the very best.

We designed and built a handicap accessible bathroom that looked like it belonged in a traditional home environment. We worked closely with the homeowners, including a Korean War veteran, to learn what their needs were and seamlessly applied those needs to the rules and guidelines of the American Disabilities Act to successfully exceed their expectations. Working with The Veterans Administration gives us an opportunity to use our talents and abilities to give back to those who gave so much for the freedoms we take for granted every day. Please remember to thank the vets you may encounter in your daily ventures and travels for their service.

Wilson Associates is a pioneer and trendsetter in the design industry, creating luxury experiences all over the world for discerning travelers. Design Director and Principal Michael Crosby and Associate Design Director Liz Dauwe created a casual residential retreat, reminiscent of a beachside resort that incorporates the family’s stylish global perspectives. The designers worked with architect John Hackler and contractor Jason Vermilya of Synergy Home Builders, who oversaw the construction and achieved the vision for the home.

THIS WAS A PLAN DESIGN & OWNER/BUILDER PROJECT. This house is a very open, livable home; one of my favorites. I designed this home in 2000, and worked with the homeowner as his own builder in 2001 to build the home. With an eclectic mix of traveled interior pieces, this home expresses an interior of a family that had lived to venture. The owners of this home expanded the living area with a terrace level addition in the form of a walk-out basement to the golf course, which houses a basket making studio and a wood working and stained glass cutting shop. Vaulted ceilings, cathedral ceilings, balcony with an off-beat staircase, an open Kitchen/Dining Area, views to the rear to the golf course, and outdoor living accessible to the Great Room and Kitchen, and screened porch make this house very relaxing and comfortable.
