Our client loves color and all things luxe. This one-of-a-kind, hand-knotted rug and the touch of magenta silk provided a pop of color, while the dark grey accent wall is a perfect foil to the white and cream furnishings. Gold accessories add the luxe and detail.

This nook in the kitchen was updated with new cabinetry, a marble counter, and glass front upper which adds not only storage and display space, but also a serving surface for family meals around the table. The gray tile in an exotic pattern adds glamour.

Details, details, details. The pewter studding on this linen Chesterfield sofa adds warmth, while the porcelain, knotted lamp and faux fur ottomans bring in texture. Visual interest is created by layering the silk and the faux fur leopard print pillows.

Contrasting upper and lower kitchen cabinets add interest. The wood backsplash is actually a faux wood tile. The barn wood style tile, farmhouse sink, and powder blue cabinets set the pace for the farmhouse style of this kitchen. Stainless steel appliances and industrial touches keep it from feeling too precious.

We were invited to do a vignette for an event where the topic was mixing old and new, contemporary with antiques. The wallpaper is by Phillip Jeffries. the rug is one of a kind. The cream chairs are antique, and so are the brass storks.
