this was an in home project my husband and i collaborated on for our kitchen. he used the back yard for his work space. i verbally designed the hutch and he did the drawings and the building... the "teamwork" is mostly his doing the work and my coming up with the design aspect of things (he is an excellent designer- i just wanted to come up with most of the design idea for this piece) we wanted something that looked classic and simple but also with a bit of a modern element. we used metal on the sides and painted it with chalkboard paint so we could put magnets on it with chalkboard messages.
