This is quite a different room from before. It exudes comfort with lots of luxe finishes. Floor to ceiling custom silk draperies behind the upholstered bed create drama and accent the height of the room. We kept the same color palette with new furnishings - sleek and glamorous nightstands with a matching triple dresser, a subtle men's wear inspired herringbone fabric on the settee, with a muted abstract patterned rug. This open family room is part of a larger addition to this Oak Park home, which also included a new kitchen and a second floor master suite. This project was designed and executed by award winning Normandy Designer Stephanie Bryant. The coferred ceilings and limestone fireplace surround add visual interest and elegance to this living room space. The soft blue color of the ceiling enhances the visual interest even further.

Located off the great room, we repeated the client's indoor color palette of navy, aqua, and yellow. A large all weather wicker sectional and a pair of spring chairs provide ample seating in the patio area. This seating area opens to a dining space all of which spill onto the pool deck.
