This curved, wrought-iron trellis is absolutely overflowing with coral honeysuckle vines. This beautiful trellis also doubles as a privacy wall for the patio area.

Designed and built by Land Art Design, Inc. In this project, we added multi-level living space with this deck and underside patio combination. The custom deck includes wrought iron railing, matching the stairway connecting the two levels. The underside patio features a bead board ceiling with recessed lighting and ceiling fans.

This homeowner had extensive collections of both high end wines and bourbon. Wine and bourbon require completely different storage solutions, so naturally, two unique and completely separate rooms were created to showcase them both. The homeowners were fantastic in meeting with our team to collaborate on a bourbon room and wine cellar design that worked within their special spaces and budget. The House itself has a rustic, yet refined and modern farmhouse feel throughout. The modern, elegant, yet vintage style look of the small wine cellar, especially, fit seamlessly with the interior design. The Bourbon cellar is not cooled, but resides in a shaded interior section within the house as to maintain a constant temperature. Additionally, with close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, sunny Ladera Ranch, a community in Orange County, California never really sees average temperatures above 80 Degrees. The Bourbon Room showcases a custom wrought iron door, and upon entering features a modular style show cabinet with multiple levels. Custom wine cellar doors, and custom wrought iron doors truly add that special feeling and look to your walk in wine room. A door used for a wine room would be fitted with dual pane glass as to better maintain temperature and humidity within. A room such as this could also double as craft beer storage. Beer storage, requires bottles to stand straight up as to not rust the cap, as well as compress any remaining yeast residues at the bottom of the bottle instead of mixed throughout. Craft beer as a whole has become an incredibly burgeoning industry, especially in places like San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in California, and Portland in Oregon. The small wine cellar / wine closet / wine room is located right off the kitchen, allowing easy access for social gatherings or just to bring out that special wine with dinner. This small walk in wine cellar incorporates a custom wrought iron door as well, fitted with glass as discussed prior. The wine room has one solid wall of individual bottle storage, leading into the showcase wall with room for case storage and more individual bottle storage above the countertop and decanting area. Jill Buckner Photography At the top of our clients’ wish-list was a new staircase. To meet their needs, we selected contemporary wrought iron balusters and stained the new staircase handrails the same as the refinished wood floors. Installing a durable, synthetic carpet to withstand heavy use by their beloved dogs was a must. The result is another dramatic focal point in the home. And, replacing a never played piano with a new console table and benches to pull up at larger parties, defines the path to the upstair levels.

Inspired by the Andalusian region of Spain, the dining room features art and accessories from the homeowners' travels, accented by dark hardwood plank flooring and smooth white walls. Custom hand-wrought iron lends authenticity to the lighting, stair railings and drapery rods. In the adjacent stairwell, imported Spanish Talavera tile graces each riser.

The balconies reflect the very Mediterranean color palette for this house. This is the only one we could capture in full figure.

Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless slate floor and gray floor entryway remodel in Nashville with a medium wood front door and white walls

This family’s intention was clear – to create a well-functioning home for their busy family that will continue to be just as well-functioning in the future. With a wish list that included open kitchen and dining spaces, a guest bedroom, and a fresh, modernized master suite, this renovation left the owners delighted. The shifting of the kitchen created a mudroom area resulting in a happy landing space for the family returning from activities. The new mudroom casts a warm glow with an ample black walnut-topped bench. Handsfree entering the kitchen, the large island and coffered ceiling well defines this space. The cook’s Lacanche Saulieu black enamel range is a show-stopper, topped off with a uniquely custom maple hood. A pleasant hideaway, the Benjamin Moore wrought iron painted cabinetry and shelving in the butler’s pantry is both practical and pretty with a quick peek out to the backyard. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were reenergized with new tile, fixtures, and updated a/v. A Newburyport Blue vanity makes for a cheery children’s bath. A more sophisticated black satin vanity in the master bath compliments the basketweave tile rug created in cool and classy Walker Zanger stone tile. Lit from above, the frameless medicine cabinet mirrors’ simplicity let the gunmetal faucets ‘shine’. Down the hall, the family laundry room’s charming tile and easy function gives hope that every family member will chip in with the chores.

Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless u-shaped staircase remodel in Salt Lake City

This Ranch Hacienda hillside estate boasts well over 13,000 square feet under roof. A loggia serves as the backbone for the design. Each space, both interior and exterior, has a direct response to the linear expression of outdoor space. The exterior materials and detailing are rustic and simple in nature. The mass and scale create drama and correspond to the vast desert skyline and adjacent majestic McDowell mountain views. Features of the house include a motor court with dual garages, a separate guest quarters, and a walk-in cooler. Silverleaf is known for its embodiment of traditional architectural styles, and this house expresses the essence of a hacienda with its communal courtyard spaces and quiet luxury.
