Bedroom at a GlanceWho lives here: This is where some of the Randolphs’ grandchildren sleep when they visitLocation: Oklahoma CitySize: 13 by 10 feet, with 13-foot-high ceilingsDesigner: Gary Randolph The sleeping loft is directly off the main entry, across the hall from the guest bedroom and behind a sliding barn door. The custom barn door mixes reclaimed wood framing and corrugated roof metal for a contemporary industrial look. The wood was cleaned and waxed with a clear wax to maintain its weathered appearance. The roof pieces were cut at a diagonal and nailed on a 1⅜-inch-thick residential door to fit inside the wood pieces. The floors throughout the house are concrete with a diamond-bit-polished finish.
