The larger wall tile was called Indiani Argento 12" x 24" and Indiani Argento Mosaic 1.5" x 3" is at the feature wall. They were purchased from Olympia Tile here in Vancouver. These are porcelain tiles.

I agree, both of the styles of wall tiles look so nice. I think that whoever designed this bathroom was a genius. I'll have to keep this photo in mind for when we renovate our home. https://www.arttileco.net/services.html

What a classic bath Claudia! I love all the details. - I'm in the process of building a new home and purchased a Bain Ultra tub, Pro Meridian 60. This tub looks very similar. I had hoped to tile up to the front lip of the tub in a manner similar to this, using Ann Sacks penny tiles. My builder has built a traditional drop in frame and will change it for me but insists that we'll always have issues wihere the grout line meets the lip of the tub. I did call Ultra Bain and they said we shouldn't have any problems if we follow the installation nstructions. Has your client has had any issues? Do you have any installation suggestions that would prevent problems? I love this very contemporary updated look!

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Debbie Snider added this to Bath Style: Ready to Try a Larger Tile?
Here are some beautiful honed slate wall tiles in muted blue grays with touches of rust. They are paired with matching tumbled mosaic for the tub face and surround. Tip: Combining similar tile in different sizes adds great texture and interest while keeping a cohesive design.
