Do you find it easy having this type of minimalist pull? I'm thinking of using them in my kitchen.

Hi, This was a custom sofa, designed by John Wheatman and Associates. His shop is now sadly closed, but his associate Siobhan Brennan is carrying on the tradition. You can reach her at (415) 431-6400 (her showroom is in San Francisco, at 215 15th Street - it's really worth a visit). You wouldn't believe how comfortable this couch is, and it's so classically stylish, it will never go out of style.

    Hello,
This beautiful bar, designed by Wade Byrens Architects and John Wheatman and Associates, is built with vertical grain douglas fir with a clear finish. These cabinets were custom made for this location, and you can see more photos of this project at our website: http://www.mnbuild.com/c1_san_leandro_addition.html.
    Good luck with your project!

Slate gray. Yes, you can use gray with tan, beige and other organic hues. It doesn't always feel right to put these neutrals together but it can work well if you incorporate different finishes. For example, in this photo walls painted with slate gray serve as a backdrop for stained wood cabinetry. Paint Pick: Steely Gray 7664 by Sherwin-Williams

The light streaming through large porthole window adds a bright contrast to the dark gray paint on the wall, adding drama to the bar.
