Thanks, we had this bed custom made for us in Scottsdale. The side rails were made so the the mattress was 1" below so that you don't see the box spring. This bed was made by Classic Custom Upholstery in Scottsdale, Arizona. (480) 348-9377

This wood ceiling is rustic alder (stained and finished on site). This project used unfinished lumbar, but we have used pre-finished flooring on other ceilings that look great too.
  • advocare01
Was this a ceiling applied by tongue/groove? Or are these wood sheets?

Since the headboard runs the full lenght of the niche - This is undoubtedly a custom installation.

However, upholstered beds are quite common these days - Nearly every furniture retailer has a few in their catalogs.

That chair was actually a piece that our clients already had and we had it re-upholstered so I am not sure who the original manufacture was.

That rug is made from a wall-to-wall berber carpet that we had cut into a custom size and then surged the edges to finish it off.

If you are one of those people who prefers to not nap during the day or just cannot fall asleep, try taking 20 minutes to sit in a nice room or by a fire and have your own personal timeout. Let me know what you think in the Comments section — after your nap, of course.More:8 Decorating Ideas for a Good Night's SleepYour Perfect Bedroom: Calm and Airy or Moody and Dark? How to Get the Hang of a Hammock

                        7. Use leftover materials. If your master bedroom is fortunate enough to have a tray ceiling, place leftover wood flooring inside of the tray to take the eye upward for an instant wow factor.

Love Your Room LLC added this to A Dozen Ways To Dress Up Your Tray CeilingDec 21, 2011

Decorate with wood planks or paneling. Create a beautiful focal point in your tray by installing ceiling planks. For a rich, traditional feel, use stained wood; for a lighter cottage approach, install paneling and paint it white or off white.
