Did anyone get a wall and trim color?
  • chloebud
Unfortunately, no. I think we may go with SW's Canvas Tan for the walls.

i would love to have white painted wood paneling...with a painted white brick fireplace...sigh...

If the brick is in good shape and the colors are warm and clean..keep it!! Love brick, removing paneling is a major pain, patching the walls, etc. all the work is well worth it in the end though!! Good Luck!

I have floors that look identical and they are hand scraped birch solid hardwood.

I like this room too! I struggle with the decision to paint wood trim in our great room. Is there information regarding the sofa and plaid chair brand?

Darker floors, lighter walls. This combination positions the tone of the brick fireplace between the dark wood floors and the soft beige walls, folding the brick into the scheme beautifully. The medium red-brown tones of the brick are repeated in the wood furniture, leather chair and red throw pillows.
