Dear Reardon4. i'm sorry. The comment was not to you. it was to a window manufacturer that was posting multiple times on each thread in response to any question about beautiful windows. I reported them and their postings have been removed.

    Okay, thank you.

Wow, this one stunning space. Stunning. The chandelier is not my taste, but the room, I love it. All those windows which allow lots of light to shine thru.

Hi TIna, the color is custom and slightly different from the interior color. The variation is subtle. We do love Benjamin Moore paints though!

well if you look close its not touching the window its against a backsplash - should work fine unless you really get into some bacon cooking!

They are antique. You can maybe find something similar at 1st Dibs or even your local antique or flea markets.

Either no ventilation at all (bad) or a downdraft (marginally better). There's also a *very* slight possibility of a "whole-room" ventilation solution that's out of the photo frame (center of room ceiling), as in the attached example.

These layering looks can be combined to even greater effect.

Go big. Little windows with little grids with fabric coverings, shades and shutters are fine. But if you have a great view, let it in with great big windows that stretch from bottom to top. If you don't need cabinetry everywhere, don't put it in. A room of magic and delight will always trump that little bit of storage.
