The spout is aged metal. You can make this yourself out of copper if you would like. This particular spout was purchased online and the backplate was salvaged from and architectural salvage yard

The pot is not completely filled with water rather is is filled with a solid foam about half way and the rock the rest of the way

This fountain was constructed out of CMU block and the basin was gunnite just like a pool. I wouldn't recommend metal framing however it's not to say you can't do it. Good Luck and let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you so much for the information. We are redoing our backyard and I really would love to have a beautiful water feature. How much do you charge for your consultation?
  • nick straabe
Our rate for consultation is $85 per hour. The consultation fee however gets refunded to the client should they choose to retain us for design services. Feel free to give us a call if you should have any questions.

    Regards,

    Nick

the pots are sitting on a poured in place colored concrete wall cap. the cap has received a light sand blast finish. I hope this helps you and please let me know if you should have any additional questions.

Let’s use these larger brown stones in the fountain in the backyard.
