Wow! What a beautiful fountain. My wife and I are thinking about doing some landscaping and I would love to add something like this to our yard. I think it would be really cool to be able to sit out by an out door fountains like this at night. I think this will really help me looking forward. Thank you for sharing. http://www.moderngiftworld.net/np1-listing-dept-30030

The spout is aged metal. You can make this yourself out of copper if you would like. This particular spout was purchased online and the backplate was salvaged from and architectural salvage yard

This fountain was constructed out of CMU block and the basin was gunnite just like a pool. I wouldn't recommend metal framing however it's not to say you can't do it. Good Luck and let me know if you have additional questions.

This particular urn was purchased at Rogers Gardens in Newport Beach CA. Not sure if they have them online but you could check.

Searching for similar urn. Is this one ceramic or terracotta? - Looking to create a similar beautiful, rustic fountain. Urns of this size are of all types of material, the most beautiful are antique terracotta olive jars or ceramic. What material is this urn? Is terracotta an option for a fountain?

This is a terracotta urn that has been sealed to hold up to the water use. It was purchased from Rogers Gardens in Newport Beach.

Material? - Can you please tell me the material that the flower pots are sitting on? Is it stained concrete?

the pots are sitting on a poured in place colored concrete wall cap. the cap has received a light sand blast finish. I hope this helps you and please let me know if you should have any additional questions.

What kind of material is it made out of? - Hi, I was just wondering what kind of material that was? We're doing a backyard remodel and I want something like this. I think the rich dark color would go well with our pinetrees. http://www.thisnthatgifts.org/outdoor.html?cat=76

Let’s use these larger brown stones in the fountain in the backyard.

Love the larger brown stone in this fountain. Let’s use it and the small brown stones in place of mulch. Let’s also use this stone in the fountain in the backyard.

This would be a really nice water feature on the courtyard. Can it be done for less than the backyard water fountain?

Like the urn and basin idea for the Mediterranean garden. Could just have the water bubbling out of the urn. No need for a water spout.
