A country club respite for our busy professional Bostonian clients. Our clients met in college and have been weekending at the Aquidneck Club every summer for the past 20+ years. The condos within the original clubhouse seldom come up for sale and gather a loyalist following. Our clients jumped at the chance to be a part of the club's history for the next generation. Much of the club’s exteriors reflect a quintessential New England shingle style architecture. The internals had succumbed to dated late 90s and early 2000s renovations of inexpensive materials void of craftsmanship. Our client’s aesthetic balances on the scales of hyper minimalism, clean surfaces, and void of visual clutter. Our palette of color, materiality & textures kept to this notion while generating movement through vintage lighting, comfortable upholstery, and Unique Forms of Art. This bathroom remodel features a warm modern Japandi style with a calm, spa-like atmosphere. Light natural wood vanities bring warmth to the space, balanced by clean white quartz countertops and soft beige tones throughout the room. The double sink layout adds daily comfort while maintaining a clean and minimal look. A frameless glass walk-in shower keeps the space open and airy, paired with large format stone-look porcelain wall tiles that create a smooth, seamless finish. A vertical wood slat accent wall adds texture and a natural touch, helping the room feel more relaxed and inviting. Soft lighting, built-in niches, and simple modern fixtures complete the design. The result is a bright, uncluttered bathroom that feels calm, warm, and functional while staying true to a minimalist spa-inspired aesthetic.

Tiny House bathroom Photography: Gieves Anderson Noble Johnson Architects was honored to partner with Huseby Homes to design a Tiny House which was displayed at Nashville botanical garden, Cheekwood, for two weeks in the spring of 2021. It was then auctioned off to benefit the Swan Ball. Although the Tiny House is only 383 square feet, the vaulted space creates an incredibly inviting volume. Its natural light, high end appliances and luxury lighting create a welcoming space.
